In an attempt to get both of my Xbox 360s connecting to Live with "Open" NAT, I've got some extra IP addresses from my ISP so that I can assign an IP to each Xbox and turn NAT off for those IPs.

My current router is a Linksys WAG54G2 ADSL2+ Modem Router, and as I understand it this router doesn't support this kind of thing.

So, the question I have for you guys is, what router does? Is there any other way I can get this set up without getting rid of my current router? Perhaps buy another basic router (without a modem or something) and have that deal with it?

I NO UNDERSTAND.

There's a few routers that'll give you an open NAT on 2+ Xboxen without the headache of faffing around with multiple IP addresses. http://www.unofficialguidetolive.co.uk/ ... ection.htm

I've got the DLink DSL-2640b & it's worked fine every time a pal's brought their xbox down :)
