Greetings, everyone. I am Warhead and I am a noob. Grim knows me, but only in a virtual sense. Nevertheless, we can still be friends, I hope.

I am very old and with any luck will be offered an early retirement package real soon now as the government is determined to get rid of me and around 25% (or more) of its workforce. On paper, I'm a Corporate Performance and Risk Manager, although I prefer to think of it as Corporate Risk and Performance as the acronym is better. In reality, I am responsible for cutting bits of directors' reports and pasting them into two other hooge reports every month. It lacks excitement, but it puts food on the table and keeps me from under Mrs Warhead's feet. In happier days I was the IT Technical & Network Manager for this organisation (which shall remain nameless for now), but when that work was outsourced I decided not be outsourced with it.

I was looking for an Introduce Yourself thread, but couldn't find one, but having read the Rools I was encouraged to introduce meself. I trust that this will do for now.

Are you Grim...'s boss? Be gentle on him in his review, he had a heavy night.

Welcome! We have a welcome thread somewhere, but damned if I know where it is.

1. No, I am not Grim's boss (and we're both prolly really happy about that).

2. As far as I know I am not a relative of Warbot.

3. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Welcome, Warhead! Whilst awaiting the axe of public sector finance cuts, you can console yourself that your public sector brethren are spending what little money we have very wisely, being as it only cost £200,000 for the OGC to rebrand themselves thusly:

Best logo ever, if you tilt your head to the left.

Craster etc - who is/was "warbot"?

It's pretty short - about twenty strips, I think.

But it will ruin your day.

Strangely enough, it doesn't. I needed to think of a suitable name quickly when I was signing up to a certain other forum and was listening to Ryuichi Sakamoto performing 'Warhead' at the time. Seemed like as good a name as any other.
