Haven't been able to access Yakyak.org since early Monday morning, anyone know what's up with it? Has it perhaps been attacked by a mutant camel? :)

Perhaps Minter fell asleep in the sheep meadow, and when he woke up they'd eaten him.

Nahhh, he was still Tweeting away yesterday:

But no mention of why his site is seemingly dead.

Perhaps they've had a falling out with Gravy ;)

Nah, it's probably just internets as you said - most of AOL broadband was down earlier and they were blaming that on some larger scale internet troubles. Dunno.

Jeff is pretty much nothing to do with the running of YakYak, hold on while I check what's up...

aha, Ruffian's servers blew up due to DDoS (Must be Realtime Worlds' doing!) . Back later, once it is sorted.

In meantime, #llamasoft on irc.blitzed.org

Cheers man.

I knew Jeff had little to do with the running of Yakyak, was just curious if he knew why it was down.

Thanks for the detective work on the cause. :)

NP, Ruffian have lots else to sort out before YY I'd wager. Hopefully we've not lost any data, particularly the hitting refresh thread.

Too many people on site at once, or something has locked the MySQL table. It should go away on its own. Try it again.
