I disagree with number 11 the most.

The rest, the majority I've watched regularly.

It shows how pathetic mainstream viewing has become when there's seven reality shows in the top 20.

Top Gear, Doctor Who, The Office, Shameless and Life on Mars were/are all great, though. QI started off brilliantly, but has been a bit naff over the last few series. Corrie? The Simpsons has mainly been phoned in for the last ten years.

These are just UK shows, right? We're not including the US ones? Because if the list is supposed to include American TV they're so wrong they may as well be espousing holocaust denial as well.

I like Grand Designs but i wouldn't have thought it would have been in there, same with TV burp. Its a very funny/clever show but not the most amazing thing on TV in the last ten years. Friends is really starting to date, and as Myp will agree, just not funny when you are still drunk at 9 o'clock on a sunday morning.
I must admit i just assumed that BB would be number one.

I guess I did see them with my eyes, my brain just refused to comprehend.

Yeah, Curb is great. Shame I can't really get into it for the same reasons I can't get into Peep Show - I can't do cringe comedy. I just can't bear to watch.

SPOOKS? Fucking SPOOKS? A third-generation photocopy of 24* is one of the twenty best TV shows of the decade, is it? Jesus fucking Christ.

* - And let's be clear, 24 really isn't all that. But it does have at least one original idea, and it's both trashily gripping and occasionally unintentionally hilarious. The closest Spooks has ever come to making me feel an actual emotion was the cheer when her off the BT adverts

I agree with you that there are some horrific omissions (the TV show where the countdown was 'revealed' teased having 'The Wire' at #1 a lot, strangely), but one of the ones on your list was on there - Planet Earth.

So yay for that, at least.
