I post this message on behalf of itsallwater's lovely girlfriend and my bestest chum Julia who's a teacher and is trying to raise money for her 6th form students to go on a conservation trip to Peru and has asked me to forward/post the following to everyone I know. Thanks for reading.

If you shop at.....BT, ebay, play.com, expedia, amazon, littlewoods, very, nationalexpress, waterstones, game, thorntons, ticketmaster, swintons, saga, superdrug, ramada, premier inn, superbreaks, qantas, alton towers, pizza hut, next, national trust, M & S, JJB, laterooms, endsleigh, hillarys, haven, gamestation, games4u, hertz, E.on, early Learning Centre, CD Wow, Butlins, B & Q,

South Wolds Community School based in Keyworth, Nottingham has launched a new online fundraising webshop. This will be used to help fund international trips.

http://www.buy.at/southwolds

This year, a group of sixth form students are working hard to raise money towards a Biodiversity Conservation Expedition in Peru in July 2010. They are going to the rainforests in the Amazon to help set up long term conservation in the area. The project aims to find a balance between the needs of the indigenous people and the conservation of the animals and plants in addition to collecting valuable research about the Amazon itself. The expedition will be based on a boat in the Pacaya Samiria National Park, and will monitor wildlife in collaboration with the local Cocama Indians. Students will undertake different ecological techniques such as transect surveys over a two week period.

'Team Peru' at South Wolds School are asking its supporters to shop online at http://www.buy.at/southwolds and raise money at no extra cost for you.

BT has teamed up with buy.at to develop the scheme which will potentially raise a significant amount of money through online sales.

Over 100 retailers are accessible through the webshop, including BT, Marks & Spencers, John Lewis, Amazon, Play and RAC. Many retailers provide exclusive offers to the webshop, such as discounts of free delivery providing more reasons for supporters to buy through the webshop.

For more information please go to http://www.buy.at/southwolds or contact jstephenATsouthwoldsDOTnottsDOTschDOTuk

Thank you in advance, enjoy your christmas shopping!

The spammers are getting clever. We need to change the security question.

I've made an amendment to the email address as we don't want her getting lots of spam.

There's no-one in Peru that needs the work, see.

It's not like you actually have to give them any money, and it's a decent reason for going.

You are, of course, correct. Apologies. I still think they should pay for their own travel, though.

As I understand it the students/their parents are paying for half of the trip themselves and fundraising for the rest.

Then further apologies are offered.

Bloody (half) scroungers.
