Will you get a day off in lieu?
I had to work today, too, but I am in the US and if I so happen to work on a Bank Holiday, well, that is just tough tits, and I lose it.
This year I have enjoyed the grand total of this many Bank Holidays: fuck all.
I get next Monday off, though, cos it is Labor Day, whatever that is.

I get offered an extra day or extra pay. My teeem leeedah (that's how she talks) said I couldn't have another extra day as I still have 18 days (!!) to use by the end of the year. I quite happily took the cash.
