I've been tasked with testing a Sierra AirCard 880 on a tablet machine. It connects in via PCMCIA slot, but I can't find any drivers for it. I've searched Sierra's website and found some software to operate it, but no drivers, and it doesn't recognise it when it's plugged in.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Get the device's PCI ID (eight hex digits -- four for manufacturer, four for model) and try googling that.

The FCC ID, if it has one, might also find a driver.

Great, I'll try that.

Where do I find that?

I've got the Sierra Wireless Watcher. Is this the same thing, but branded differently? We use O2 as our carrier here.

The red crosses should've given it away, but I was hellbent on installing some drivers. ;)
