Hello folks! It's voting time again. We'll be doing everything the same as last time, as that seemed to work out pretty well. You'll vote for 3 mods out of the applicants, then PM those choices to 3 vote counters, who will tally the results.

The timeframe will be:

Now->6th Sep - Applications
7th Sep - 20th Sep - Vote
27th Sep - New Mods in

So, in this thread please, we would like applications for the next set of Mods, as well as volunteers for votecounters (Grim... will be one of the votecounters, and he'll pick two volunteers - otherwise we'll end up having elections for votecounters, then elections for people to count the votes for that election........)

So, make yourself known in this thread please, and please make clear whether you are applying for Mod, or volunteering to count votes. Nobody who applies to be a Mod can be a vote counter, for obvious reasons.

Applicants
MrDavPaz
TheAlbin0Kid
Runcle
myp
Kalmar
Craster

Counting Volunteers
markh
kovacsC
Dimrill
TheVision
Wogan'sTrouserBulge

I'll count if needed, as I have no 'allegiences' and I owe this place something for all the tech support (and amusement)!

I don't want to stand but I'd just like to say I'm happy with the current mods, especially Craster and Kalmar.

Gosh darn it, I didn't realise I'd have to fight off EXISTING mods :(

This is how dangerous dynasties are formed! Don't go down that road... vote Albin0Kid!!!1! That 3rd mod who nobody remembers, get rid of him... it might be Pol Pot. It might not be, but is that a chance you really want to take?

I thought the consensus was not to bother with mod votes ever again as they're tedious and pointless?

Whoh. We can't just decide that. We need an election, with flouncing.

We also need a more complicated voting system. I think we should introduce proportional representation.

I would like to be represented by Craster's left leg.

I'd really quite like to see a massive temper strop and flouncing, but without another one of these bothersome elections.

(Not that I've noticed much mod action other than splitting things out from bits and bobs, which I like - and that's probably how it should be).

Wow... This came around quick! Maybe because we spent sooooo long flouncing a couple of months ago!

Although I would like to stand for mod, I don't think I'm around enough so therefore...

I vote myself as a vote counter!!

We could always bring back the photography challenge, as that became SRS BZNS & was awesome for strops.

Come to think of it we did, but Chinny hasn't decided on a winner yet :DD

This collective future of win is what I would bring to the position though. You can have the short-term joy of me flouncing a little bit, or you can have a lifetime's (if you die in the next 6 months or whatever) joy of messageboard perma-win by voting me in. I am trusting to your foresight here, do not fail me!

Is there any way we can have both? I am a Modern Voter, and therefore demanding beyond my worth.

You can pretend that you're not going to vote for me so that I flounce, and then actually vote me in and hope I am not too soured by your previous behaviour that I have gone all Sith by the time I take my throne position.

And chinny has just lost his right to vote through that ghastly grammatical boob.
