Quiet one this year, as Mrs T was working today. Apparently today the shop was dead, they took around £700 for the whole day, compared to £25k+ in the days before xmas!
I stayed home and cooked a chateaubriand with mayan gold roast potatoes for when she got home, which was pretty fucking epic if I do say so myself

Having been on antibiotics over over a week hardly a drop of anything alcoholic has passed my lips since Christmas Eve. Not that it matters, as I rarely drink on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/Day as I am always the designated driver for the Warhead Household, so no hang over for me today.

Awesome mate, man after my own heart. I myself roasted a magnificently large beef rib joint on Boxing Day, with plenty of garlic, fresh ginger, fresh rosemary and goosefat potatoes, *mega* yorkies and all the rest, albeit sadly was in no position to enjoy it personally.
I trust you had a suitably robust red wine accompaniment!

I got smashed and MrsA put me to bed at about 1am in the other cottage, so I waited until she went back, slunk downsairs then drank another 3 bottles of beer whilst watching something on TV. She wasn't happy when she found me at about half three. Understandably.

Well it was 4am and everyone was drunk. Some student barges into me on the street. I look back at him as per ritual but think nothing of it. His friend shouts swear words after him.

My friend thinks he's shouting at me, so goes over to start on him. I tell him not to bother, and it gets a bit heated, but the original kid has come back by this point, realising what his lack of manners has started. My pal's all 'don't be telling [throughsilver] to fuck off'.

Meanwhile I'm satisfied that they're all pretty scared and very apologetic, so I tell him it wasn't directed at me (if it had been, I'd have chinned him myself), and we go our separate ways, handshakes, happy new year etc.

We went to Windsor... Was really odd and quiet.. Great night though.

We had been to London the night before, was awesome too.
