That's right.. Dodgeball is coming to Dudley! Me and a friend have been looking at getting a league sorted to play Dodgeball in the West Midlands and I thought I'd post here to see if anyone lives local enough and if they can get a team of 5 people together?

PM me if you're keen and I'll let you know the finer details!

If it's a weekend thing I can probably get a team of 5 together. I've already got 3 interested parties including myself.

We're looking at it being a Saturday at the moment as the sports hall we're looking at booking is fully booked all other times!

My team come from Dudley and the surrounding area but it's not essential! Providing the team can get to Dudley in the West Midlands on a Saturday afternoon then they're more than welcome!

well, us kids used to play naked dodgeball. Every time you were hit you had to take a piece of clothing. Damn, i remember it being a bit more manly and rebellious than what it sounds in this description.

EDIT: judging by the wikipedia description this is not the same dodgeball as i was talking about. We used to play just with the feet and the goal was just not hitting the other guy with the ball, but also hurting him. Here we call "Mata!" which translates to "Kill!"

Dimrill, we can get three more people interested in this, surely? Ange and Helen can hold our inhalers.

I was also in the boy scouts, but i don't remember playing it there. I can believe i stopped playing hockey to join the boy scouts, just because all my neighbors were on it.

I don't know three people. I'm unsure you're real.

It will be I reckon! I'm genuinely excited about it.. hopefully I can make a proper league out of it, providing I get enough people that is.

Sadly on the 20th I have Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart coming to visit. Otherwise I'd make up a different implausible excuse.

We played this last Saturday for the first time.. and it was ace!

Does anyone fancy joining us yet? If so, let me know... we're playing every Saturday and it doesn't matter if you have a team or not. We can fit you in with someone elses! It's great!!
