It has got the woman from chuck in it voicing a character.

She even looks like herself

I'm so dumping Llama (or whatever she was called) and trading up.

(I kinda thought we needed a mass effect 2 thread)

The really awful cover is here:

I can't wait for this, I have been playing the first one again this week. It's easy to forget how much work they put into things, I was planning to skip through the conversations but I have become totally engrossed in it again. Brilliant.

Of all it's flaws I just hope they fix the inventory. Hell, I moved the difficulty down to easy just so I wouldn't need to bother upgrading stuff so often..

Such an ace game despite so many flaws.

Yeah the inventory is the main thing I want fixed. That and the effin lifts. Playing it again last night, I actually began wondering if they did that on purpose to convey size but I think it was just because I was searching for any excuse for such an annoying feature.

It was to hide loading as much as possible I thought.

That really is a creepily close render of Yvonne Strahowski. Also, strahotski.com? Excellent URL.

Yeah I know, but I was trying to decide why they chose the elevators, I would probably have preferred loading screens with tips displayed like Fable despite how repetitive that becomes. Or even displaying codex entries during loading, that would have been more interesting Even the conversations with your crew are rubbish in the elevators, they only last for a fraction of the time and they are for some reason barely audible no matter how much you turn towards them.

Given how long the loading took in Mass Effect, you'd probably actually have time to read the tips, too. I hate it when the screens flash by so quickly you don't get chance to read them if they're trying to display helpful information.

How many people chose a female Commander Shepard?

I did (obviously) however I messed it up last time by flirting with everybody so only getting to have sex with the Matriach woman.
So this time I'm going to dinghy that moany faced dude and zone in on that blue lass. Wish I could win over Ashley though, I bet she'd be wild.

I always get criticised for making female characters. I don't see what's so gay about preferring to look at a woman rather than the backside of a manly man for ten hours.

if you play as a woman, you can either have the blue girl or the guy.

If you play as a guy, I think you can either have the blue girl or the girl called Ashley.

Also, as either male or female there a side quest which can result in some sexy time with someone in the Citadel.

If I'm playing a game I like to be as different a character as possible, hence I'm a 100% videogame tranny. Normally a pert redhead, because if I wasn't me that's what I'd want to be. Shepard is such an everyman gaming dude I couldn't bear to be the stock character. My similar avatar currently works across Saint's Row 2, Fallout 3, GTA4 online and Mass Effect amongst others.

My first playthrough was a make Shepard.

My second was a female that I made look at much like Sigourney Weaver, circa Aliens, as possible.

The more I read about this game the more I'm looking forward to it. The first was fantakkabostin, as I may have already said before.

My Shepherd is Miki Berenyi, or near enough.

My other characters (goth chick, blonde chick, big bald black dude) weren't nearly as interesting.

I was reading the Takeshi Kovacs books at the time, so I made my Shepherd a Slavic/Japanese spacefaring badass.
