Bugger it. My PSP-3000 which I bought off eBay "*NEW* L@@K!" has developed a couple of stuck blue pixels. I've tried running an "un-sticker" program for a couple of hours and rubbing the screen but to no avail. Boo! The eBay seller is now no longer a user, apparently. Gah!

Do you think Sony will touch it as an under warranty fix? Anyone know how to contact them?

My Atari Lynx had a dead pixel. But I didn't post on the internet to bitch about it.*

However Sony should be obligated to fix it providing you have a proof of purchase and you can prove it was new. I would suggest you book a session in an internet cafe or local library and pop along to the Sony Support website to see if they will provide you with a human, or perhaps robot replica, to speak to.

* This was in 1992 and I didn't know what a dead pixel was. LCD screens being exciting and new and everything. And even with a dead pixel it still totally destroyed the Gameboy and Gamegear screens.

The PSP-3000 is too new to be out of warranty, right? So phone Sony and request a warranty repair. Keep quiet about eBay, and if you're asked, tell 'em it was a gift from a relative who has since passed away.
