I think my college notes are sitting in the living room, possibly on the couch. I do hope my dog doesn't eat them.

Install Dropbox on your home computer, point it at the place you save your college work, then next time you forget your usb drive, you can just go onto your dropbox account on the web and download your work from there :D

Two things.

A) £99 is for the SD version, the HD version is more I think
ii) You still need to control it via the computer, so you either run back and forth to the PC/laptop, or you bring the pc into the room with the TV. If you do that, you might as well just buy a cable and save yourself £100 :D

That sounds cool, that would be really useful. Doesn't solve the problem with the physical notes as well which are unfortunatly playing a central role in a practical class this afternoon, but for most of my scatty related woes it would be brilliant.

It's amazing how suddenly everyone has become very good at recycling and bins are sprouting up everywhere for any scrap wiring. No wonder though, it's a few hundred quid for a bin full of it isn't it?

Sadly I have no such treasures, and in fact if I do anything it will be buying cable. Thinking about doing some wiring at home, exciting! :p

Spare a thought please for our Irish cousins, particularly those using Eircom as their broadband ISP, for they know not how shite the routers they've been provided are.

I've spent the last 30 mins trying to create a simple port forward on a customer's PC. Every time I click a button on the router's administration webpage, it briefly drops it's internet connection, and thus my remote connection. Yes, every button press involves me being kicked out of my remote session and having to log in again so I can click the next button. Plus, everything is laid out in such an obtuse manner, that I have to press many buttons just to find the bloody NAT settings. And even then it doesn't work, because it's default firewall settings deliberately drops incoming communications you have purposefully set up on the damn thing unless you then piss about with that too.

Fucking thing. Worse than the routers BT Open Reach knock out.

That chums is the worlds oldest woman, Anne Nightingale, who at the age of 172 is still on Radio 1. The only reason they keep her is that she makes Jo Wiley look young.

Doing these fund reports, it is quite interesting to see how much money goes down the drain on companies that don't quite make it. $10 million here, $10 million there. Some funds are really quite ruthless if something is underperforming and will pull the rug out really quickly. It's a shame, as some ideas seem to me, at least to be really good, but not viable.

BLATANT SEXISM ALERT!

Also, of course, this:

Attachment:
Sara-Cox-338x750-23kb-media-30-media-0235[1].jpg

means "Say the fuck what you like on the radio", wheras this:

Attachment:
SaraCox2_XPS_468x601[1].jpg

means "Get off the air, skag, I can't even understand you."

Grossly unfair, of course, but then so is the fact that she works on Radio 1.

Here's another nice picture, which you may not want to click on at work (it's in the Sun, so it's not that bad).
