Subject to me making it to That London (which, I'm fairly sure, is actually my closest iMax anyway since they closed the one in Bristol), me.

I was thinking about when - getting seats together in the opening week would be hard. It depends if people would mind either seeing it a few weeks after release, or seeing it for the second time at the iMax (because they'll have been to see it elsewhere).

I agree, I think a few weeks later (which would certainly be a second showing for me) would be the right choice. Unless the film sucks, of course. That'd be an arse.

I don't even know anything about it, not having read the comics. Does that matter?

That's a good point - we'll probably have to book before the release of the film, so if it is arse, we're boned.

That is a grand idea, I'd be right up for it, though my evenings are often taken up by work and the like so I might have to go "oh well, never mind".

Assuming it doesn't suck like an electric sucking thing, I'd definitely be up for it.

So, the answer to 'who watches the Watchmen', is 'BeeX do'?

It's a chance I'm willing to take. Even if it's arse, the trailer seems to indicate it'll be good eye-candy.

Betting money on Zack Snyder. I must be out of my mind.

Is watching it at the Imax better than watching it at the front row of the balcony at the Vue cinema at the O2?

Ah - I must confess that I don't know, as I've not been to the O2 cinema.

Booking is open at the iMax if anyone is still interested. Cras - can you find out if we can get the seats you were talking about at the O2?

Watchmen, going to the flicks and then the arcades. It's like the 80s never died.

I'm also well up for a trip to That London for inevitably massively disappointing film goodness.

The missus is also free, and wants to come to the IMAX and to play games at the Troc.

Are we booking tickets? Who is booking them? Who else is coming?

Nope, although we'd prefer it if you got he/she to the forum first :)

I will not attend, as I'll be going a week earlier with the wife for my birthday. I might come along for some Trocadero action though.

Do we need official numbers so one person can book the tickets? I don't mind whacking it on my credit card as long as we have a guaranteed list of attendees...

That's probably a good idea, we might struggle to get seats together otherwise.
I will check with head office tonight, but I think I'm good that day.

[edit]Oh wait, fuck, is that Easter weekend?

So, official list of "I'm in" people so Curio can book the tickets (I assume he wants us to pay him back, although he never mentioned it...). Also people that want to meet up to play arcade games but don't want to come to the film (for some odd reason) should mention it.

I'M IN
