These guys have invented a solution that can reverse the discolouration of old computers. If your Amiga has turned brown or your GX4000 is tarnished and you know a little about chemistry then read on:

I said that to a Spanish friend once, and she told me no. It's Spanish for female friends, just like Amigo is Spanish for male friends.

Novia would be the correct word for Girlfriend (with Novio being boyfriend)

My girlfriend is the best. She's a Super Novia.

This is indeed true. And "me molesta su novia*" doesn't mean quite what it sounds like, but it sure makes for a fun misunderstanding.

*"Your girlfriend bothers/annoys/displease me", roughly. The polite 'your', also meaning 'his/her/its'.

That's actually pretty darned cool.

I have a bunch of C64's in the basement that I could probably rejuvenate with this.
But I'd rather let the little bastards suffer in their yellow cocoons instead.

Just use flash bathroom cleaner. That's what I used to use on my Amiga.

As they point out on the site, other chemicals may work but can leave blooming on the surface. Their process only alters the top few microns of the plastic.

If you do try it, be careful not to overdo it. Although at least you could see your face in them I suppose.
