Grumpy ex-Goodie quits Springwatch:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7860991.stm

Annoying as he is, it was always a joy to watch him irritate the tits off Kate Humble.

I kept reading it as 'ornithopter Bill Oddie'.

Which would be quite amusing to see, really. Thought I doubt he can flap his flabby arms fast enough.

Also, 800 bananas for the thread title.

I love Springwatch and Autumnwatch. But good riddance to the grumpy bastard.

Mmmm. Kate Humble.

Oh, sorry. What?

He got in a right grump with a BBC News presenter the other month, didn't he? To the extent it made it on to HIGNFY, or something.

What else will he be doing for money now, though? Other then stealing rare birds' eggs, obv.

I am reminded at this point of the story that the (now deceased) Revgoatboy posted on Popbitch about working in the house of a woman from Emmerdale Farm, and when she went out he ran around the house with her knickers on his head. She then returned early and he had to hide!

She's lovely. And, given that I think that, Mr Chris must obviously not really like her, and is secretly actually perving over Bill Oddie. That should up his score.

Good lord. See, now that's an attractive woman. You can keep your orange Girls Aloud people and airbrushed FHM tarts.

Maybe I just have a thing for slightly older ladies these days?

Mind you, the other day I was watching one of these cable music channels at a chum's house, and I spied a particularly lovely midriff. I have a thing for ladies' stomachs, for some reason. After I'd spent part of a song perving over this lady, my mate pointed out that it was Nelly Furtado.

Brrr. Unclean.

When I was playing footy in a local 5-a-side league, we got this close to printing our names and numbers on the back of our shirts.

Well, when we say "our" names and numbers, it was more:

#4 - Nielson
#5 - Hindley
#12 - West
#13 - Sutcliffe
#15 - Shipman

Very near the Glastonbury Festival site, there is a car dealership called 'Brian Fear Cars'.

I always have the odd mental image of someone called Brian driving past and suddenly becoming terrified of automobiles...
