I'm not saying the thread isn't a good debate, but it's making me angry (or maybe that was the arsey student I've just told off) and I wanted to chill.

So, look! A Monkey! :munkeh:

It seems very few words have the letters b n p in them in that order. Bankrupt and brinkmanship are about the only ones ( and bankruptcy and bankrupted and so on, obv ). Ribbentrop the Nazi dude has it, but that's a name so I don't think it counts. The same with Ashurbanipal, the Assyrian king, but I'm sure you could find more proper nouns with it in. Ho hum.

"I am a apple!"

What type of school did it go to?

Not one where they taught the correct use of the indefinite article, that's for sure.

Given that I will now be avoid this thread.

Scary.

Although I jumped only about six feet when I saw that, as opposed to smashing my head through the ceiling.

It's like that puzzle thing where you have a sentence and you have to count the number of times a certain letter appears and you always get it wrong because you don't count the ones in the middle of words, or something.

It's always the 'f's in 'of'.

I saw that one immediately. Which surprises me, as I normally have to stare at those things for several hours before I work out what's wrong.

Yep. I always do things like that backwards, as your brain tends to filter out the f's in the word 'of'.
