Hurrah!

I've finally found a house to move into with my mates, and it's completely lovely and a too good to be true one, and we've bagged it. Hurrah!

Hurrah!

I've just bought a sexy little wind-up radio torch combo!

Hurrah!

I'm now off in an hour to the Gower camping with mates, and have my new hiking boots and OS map all ready, and it's lovely weather!

Hurrah!

I have a tripod and bag too, so I hope for some awesome shots with my D40x.

Hurrah!

And I'll be taking a box of red wine too.

The only bah - Co-Op had run out of Tunnocks bars, the essential camping ingredient. But otherwise, all Hurrahs so far! (Grins indecently.)

Elm Street in Roath. Lots of colourful houses on that street.

Weekend in the Gower was super, by the way. Went on a big seven mile cliffside walk on Monday, and got up super early at 4:30 to take photos on the beach. Still tinkering with the results now - shame some dust particles have shown themselves under long exposure. Needs some retouching. Didn't get much sleep Monday night at all due to strong winds rustling the tent - which means that I'm only just recovering with a big sleep in now. Egads.

Cripes. DrG, Myfinger and I used to live on Crofts Street which is at the top of Elm Street. Mind the chavs wandering in from Adamsdown.

Hmm. I've heard about this from Alice who's moving in too, who worked in some council department related to housing benefits. She said it was a bit of a notorious area, but that Elm street should be okay. *Looks nervous*

Be careful not to burn a hole in our roof with that seemingly innocuous red dot, MaliA. Don't want to sacrifice my bond.
