I'm assuming we've all seen this by now, but if you haven't:

Now combine it with this:

Which shows the amount of visible galaxies in a tiny empty black part of the night sky.

It makes you think. I'm currently thinking that I want a krispy kreme doughnut.

*to be precise, the vast majority are stars, some are clusters, and there are a few other galaxies in there too...

If you can get hold of some, look at the sky on a clear night through a pair of Krispy Kremes binoculars. It is almost shocking.
