It's on my 'maybe' list for when I get a PS4, if I run out of other stuff to play. Actually I suspect my 'definitely' list currently only consists of new Arkham and GTA5 at the moment.

Never get this shit. Ever. Not even if it goes cheap. Not even if someone wants to loan it to you.

Take it off the "maybe" and erase it as a memory in your head by inserting a knitting needle through a tear duct and swooshing it around for a bit.

Yeah I played like an hour of it and it's garbage.

GTAV is better looking and that was on the PS3.

Wow, I thought it was just a bit 'meh', a bit 'didn't live up to the hype'; I didn't realise it was genuinely so shite. Hmm, okay, that gets shunted right to the bottom of the list then!

So was Watch Dogs.

Watchdogs PS4 < (looking-wise) < GTAV PS3.

It's alright, I enjoyed it well enough. Mind you, I thought the latest Killzone was decent enough.

You can cause car accidents by changing traffic lights, explode generators as people walk past and make the bridge open so you can lose the cops by jumping the gap! What isn't to like? Excep for the hacking sub game, the tower capture from Assassin's Creed, the morose psychopath as a lead and being invaded all the time.

You can do all this in the first hour. Then why bother to play?

Maybe to get the equivalent of a 5-Star wanted level? Oh hang on, I've been murdering and exploding people's skulls for 10 minutes and no cops have shown up. Yawn.

It's Dull. As. Fuck.

I can't justify playing any more of this when there's so many other games out there that aren't the same garbage that Ubisoft are spewing into gamers arseholes.

Doesn't work

I couldn't quite put my finger on what was wrong with Watch Dogs. I think it's just that for an open world game there's really never much emergent hilarity. Compared to GTA or Far Cry it's just so dull.

That actually looks like fun, in a generic GTA-rip off sort of way. Certainly not 'next-gen' as we were promised from the previews.

It is pretty good fun, there's lots of different things to do and the "running away" bits can be good for a giggle. The plot, however is far too serious for its own good.
