Be Excellent To Each Other

A customer just wondered if I could figure out the game he's looking for from a description something like this:

You play as a static gun emplacement and shoot aliens that jump out from behind rocks.

I won't know if you're right or wrong until he eventually returns in the coming weeks but any suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds rubbish. Could be a really early one?
