I have just purchased one of these :

a fairly boring and run-of-the-mill fencing mask. However, there is a bit of a tradition of painting the mesh to make it look TOTES AMAZE - see :

* for varying values of totes amaze *

I would like mine to look cool. BUT I am artistically incompetent, so what can I do that requires no artistic skill? I imagine cut-out templates will be my friend here.

Some current ideas:
* AWESOME sharks teeth around the edges
* RADICAL WWII dazzle camouflage
* BRILLIANT Grim Fandango Skelington face

I hope not. I think the basic thing is that if you make yourself look like a SUPER AWESOME GUY but are just rubbish, you just look like a wally.

I think a big, spooky eye would be very cool. Also, somehow drawing the back of the mask so it looked as if I had an empty head.
