Hmmm...

Super excitement is quelled by thought of having to pay for collecting cards to build a really expensive item library.

Doesn't seem to have all the AC elements I love (finding things, having strange animals sit on my bed and rifle through my fridge, having my hair done, Tom Nook....)

Yes that was good fun. I thought I was streaking away to victory at one point until every single one of you unleashed every single shell for a period of about 30 seconds. And the thing about Mario Kart is it just made me laugh rather than get angry.

Just gutted I missed Baby Park.

Yeah, that was rubbish, sorry guys. I think I kept getting disconnected because the second controller kept switching off due to battery failure. I'll buy some more.

ah, the charge was the reaoson for the disconnection (because it popped up-> disconnected)... i better check it next time..

(i did recharge my wii u procontroller last week for this luckily)

now Nintendo, please make my wavebird work with this!

@trousers We'll be doing babypark again i'm sure next week.. After disconnecting btw trousers, i though, we might have joined a general online multiplayer session including the two of us..
(i was hapopy we didn't , because for some reasons my hands and neck felt horribly after our session (and 2 hours of cargo bikeing before probably)

I've had a play through all the DLC now and it is indeed glorious, that track that's in the woods with the waterfalls and the sun shafts and what have you is beyond gorgeous. (Have they actually pepped up the graphics a bit with the new DLC?)

On paper the Wii U is the underpowered weakling of this generation, but I've seen nothing close to Mario Kart 8 on the XBoner or PS4 in terms of sheer graphical majesty.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to try 200cc mode yet as I was missing a single gold on 150cc which I didn't realise, I had a stab at it and thought I was going to get it until I got hit with one of those 'irritating' barrages of unfairness towards the end of the last lap on the last track. Grrrrr.

It's got the problem that all games have in that it's competing with Hearthstone for my time, but I can see me working my through all of the DLC in 100c and 150cc (I've already done 50cc), and I'll get 200cc mode unlocked as well.

I won't try and beat any of Trousers' times though. That's just depressing.
