Bump!

If that date doesn't work let me know, I could go ahead with the players available and fill the party with other players then revisit this when works for you?

Adventure is about ready. You will be playing a group of adventurers in the City of Splendors, Waterdeep itself. You've been tasked with successfully navigating a wizard's magic maze to test your mettle against traps, riddles, monsters and treasure to retrieve an item for one of the Lord's of Waterdeep.

The characters available will be chosen from the following, so please let me know if you have a preference :)

Barbarian - the relentless combatant, fueled by fury which can make them resistant to damage when attacked.

Bard - a story teller or musician using wits, magic, and lore to get out of (or avoid) tight situations.

Cleric - a Holy person devoted to a deity. capable of bolstering the party and healing their wounds, or laying low their enemies with divine wrath.

Rogue - a thief, assassin or stealthy character who has a knack for picking locks or landing strong hits if they're able to attack when the enemy doesn't see them coming

Wizard - Often descried as a glass cannon, the wizard uses magic and spells from range on the battlefield to protect themselves from melee hits

In this adventure, I'd encourage you to interact with the environment whenever possible - tell me you want to look for secrets and traps, attempt to pick locks or force open doors, pick up items to examine them, and generally enjoy exploring.

I think we'll probably start sometime between 7:30pm-8:00pm depending on when my kids get to bed and the adventure should take 3-4 hours to complete.

@Dr Zoidberg
@TheVision
I still haven't heard back from you to make sure this Friday suits you, can you let me know?

If it doesn't work, I will open this up to anyone else who wants to play so if you want on the reserve bench please reply to this thread :)

Unfortunately I can't make this Friday.. Shame that but if anyone else would like to take my place then feel free, I wouldn't want to disrupt everything.

No problem, I'll run it again sometime in the next few weeks so if some of the Rummage Inc players want to take a spot or two in this session, the others can get spots in the next one I run with you :)

@Mimi, no pressure but there's a spot if you want to play...?

Sure thing, want to wait to see if anyone else claims the other before you decide, or is there one you have a stronger preference for?

I see you kept the Druid class out of this as they'd make it all too easy.

Cleric I think. But see what others suggest too. There might be four that work better together.

Cleric is my favourite class to play, it's a great choice!

I've dropped a link in the Discord which should take you to the character sheets in DnD Beyond for you to claim the cleric one.

In +1.

I’d like to try barbarian but I’m happy to be any of them except wizard. Waiting on Other Dave’s preference.

-edit- He says wizard!

:( Will definitely run it again, it looks like a really fun adventure that's quite different from what we're playing through in the campaign right now so I think the other players would all like to get a turn as well.

So, with that there's still one spot available if anyone wants in?

Checking for traps? The big brain move is to run around as fast as you can as loud as you can clearing all the fog of war in an area, then falling over

:( Me either. Well I’m around (where else would I be) but I’ve not been very well and can’t sit up properly at the moment, so I doubt I’d be at my best :(

@sdg If you need someone to make up numbers I'll try my best to jump on but I won't be able to confirm until teatime tomorrow.

If any of Rummage Inc can play, I have one space for a rogue to come and try and pick locks and detect traps! The game can go ahead without them but there might be a bit more damage taken! :ninja:

Remember to be kind to all the animals you encounter... there a mental Druid out there somewhere.
