I find ads on YouTube very inconsistent. Some days/sessions I'll get loads throughout the first video then nothing for the next couple, other times it's one long one then several small ones.
Some creators are better at placing breaks but most seem to just let The Algorithm dump them whereever.
Not annoying enough yet to give up on the platform or (horror) pay, but still frustrating.
As for downloads, cheers for the reminder:I need to check if I'm running them most recent version of
yt-dlp as it wasn't working for me at the weekend when I (

I've used uBlock in Chrome for as long as I can remember so when I'm watching YouTube on my computer I don't see ads at all. To be honest I'm a bit surprised it still works.
