See the other thing is in that section you have games where only one person voted for it - i know because my favourite game is in there at number 49 , so that got 10 of my points
I assume Shenmue 2 was also one persons favorite (so its probably joint 49th) , the stuff down here can be swayed by just one persons votes it should get 'better' as you get closer to the top.
As for Hypersports , i loved it in the arcade , and have spent years played it , and perfecting parts of it
First time i saw it was a family holiday in Newquay where my favourite game at the time was Track & Field , and there were 2 machines in various arcades one with buttons and one with a joystick (i preferred the stick) , and on about the 2nd or 3rd day of the holiday it had changed to Hypersports and i stumbled through the first 2 events and got stuck there , but really got into it.
My local arcade got it in shortly afterwards (converting a missile command caberet machine into it - i kid you not)and i spent a great deal of time that summer mastering it - i liked being the person in the arcade who could do all the events and getting 'free' goes when someone was stuck ("can you do the archery for me")
Even when they bumped the difficulty levels right up i could still complete each event , then the dreaded 'stop after 1 time round' and i still continued to play it.
I of course played the speccy and C64 versions of it at the time - the C64 cassette version was on one of the compilations i got with my C64
Then the machines slowly started to vanish from the arcades , converted into other things and it would still be something I'd search out (there was a badly maintained one in one of the arcades in Blackpool pleasure beach that i still played each time i was there just to play it on a real machine).
I remember the very first emulated version of it which had not de-coded the graphics correctly and it ran in a window about 60 / 70 % speed and it was all just garbled blocks but the sound was there and i even went round the events on that - when MAME finally did it correctly again i spent so much time just playing this game
When i joined the retroleague it was my first choice and the first week I won an 'event', just for straight score my best :
http://www.scottmac.clara.co.uk/Season3.htmlwould slot in to the top 10 on Twin Galaxies at position 5
