Is it worth trying to book somewhere, as we seem to be up to about 30 people?

Right, that's me and Miss Malabar booked into the Premier Inn on the 26/27th. I guess we're a definite now, unless I fancy losing £114 on a non-cancel-able room.

I will also be in the pub in Manchester by mid-afternoon at the latest, and I'm damn sure I'm not leaving Zardoz unsupervised in my house...

We should confirm numbers and book for the Beex Gourmand Meet for those people looking forward to spending silly money on food.

This will also count as another Beex Meet before the one myp organised.

Have we had 10 yet?

Funnily enough, I was in Liverpool then. If you came down the Wirral instead of going through Runcorn, we probably passed, and I'm pretty sure that's a meet.

In case any of my other guests who are coming by train are this organised, the nearest train station to my house is DAVENPORT, so book to there rather than Stockport, or worse, Manchester.

No. I'll just turn up to Stafford station and buy a ticket to Stockport, then get an train that you tell me to from there to DAVENPORT.

Davenport is the next stop down on the Buxton/Sheffield line. Or about a mile walk.

There's space in my house in Sale, though by the way everybody keeps ignoring that, I've done a good job of selling its awkwardness for Stockport.

We seem to be spending the entire time in the city now, so I'm not sure Stockport is relevent any more.

And that's a piece of piss, half a mile stroll to a tram stop (and pub), though it'll be a taxi back. Not sure how much that costs, yet. Probably £15 or something.

Ok, I've had a think and fuck it, there is officially room for Nikachu and Mr Chris at mine, providing some people don't mind sleeping in weird places like the kitchen floor and stuff. That takes us up to 10, and since it's only a one bedroom maisonette I really am going to declare this place FULL now.

Officially guest list is me plus: myp, ange, dimrill, throughsilver, wullie, zardoz, markiforgetwhichletter, nikachu, mr chris. AFAIK myp, ange and wullie are coming Friday night too, zardoz, mark, dimrill and mr chris will be coming saturday, mr silver is wavering... nik please let me know when you want to turn up. In light of this, if there is anyone here who is thinking "I want to come up on Friday as well but can't really afford two nights in a hotel", then let me know and we can squeeze you in at mine for Friday night, although you will have to de-camp to your hotel on Saturday.
