Just don't. It's the worst film I've ever paid to watch, and in fact so far as I can remember the worst film I've ever watched ever.

It's a Will Ferrell sports comedy. If you like Will Ferrell sports comedies, then you'll like this Will Ferrell sports comedy. It's no Talledega Nights, but it sits comfortably with Blades of Glory.

His mangina diving is implied in the book rather than in full detail isn't it? Hollywood only likes gay cowboys who get beaten to death anyways, so he'd have to be a straightzor.

Dorian Gray looked awful when I saw a trailer a while back. It looked very much like they'd made him straight, which would be enough for me to vomit until I bled internally. I've avoided it since on the off-chance that my vague suspicion is accurate.

There is brief (awfully acted) man-kissing and strongly-implied at-least-BJ.

He likes the ladies in the book, though.

I watched Memento at the weekend for about the fourth time. I still love it.

Christopher Nolan is one of the few directors that I really like every single one of his films.

Heath Ledger was all right. Not Oscar-worthy, though. I did enjoy TDK, though.

I loathe the new Batman films. Yes, Heath Ledger was good. The films are utter rubbish though. Gotham's does not look like a normal modern 'merican city for fucks sake.

It's all implied, but he only mentions loving a lady explicitly. At least, that's how Wikipedia has refreshed my memory of the book - it's many years since I read it. Furthermore, the the movie isn't a straight version of the book, but an expanded one - and expanded well, to my mind. It's also scary, funny and full of boobs and blood and gore. As I said earlier in the thread, it's very much a Hammer version of the story, rather than Merchant Ivory or whoever. And Colin Firth is excellent.
