Like I said, I slept 12 or 13 hours last night, and am still tired. It's always been this way; I need 10+ every night, preferably shifted so that I sleep from 2am to midday. Anything less, even in a routine, and I'm frazzled most of the time. Even during me school days, my mum had to spend half an hour cajoling me to get me up. I routinely get 7 or 8 on weekdays, 10 or so on Friday and Saturday, and am fucked.

I get like that quite a bit but I know mine is purely down to my awful eating habits....

I hope they find out what's up, Bik and that it is easily solvable.

Thanks for the well-wishes, well-wishers :)

Good luck Flis... I'm sure everything will work out fine but its good you're getting it checked.

Now.. while I'm here, I'm in my car on Nettos car park eating my lunch. Why am I here? Simple... because I hate my job.

All the best, flis! I've got some lumps, but they're quite small. One in my arm (that's a muscle - ed), and one on the side of my neck. Always been there. I like to think they're my power-up buttons.

Never fail to be disappointed when I press them.

Ugh.

Gross bodily function discussion in spoilers...

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Just vomited up soooo much liquid. I thought I'd already crapped all the liquid in my body out (I lost three pounds overnight from pooping).

I feel wretched. Haven't been able to eat in over 24 hours, and only managing small sips of water, which invariably don't last long. Had a really high temperature yesterday (coming down thanks to paracetamol) and have been unable to sleep properly as every time I lie down my mind races and I end up delirious.

I've had D&V bugs before, but nothing like this one. The stench of the poop is just unbelievable, and even if I flush it immediately, it still infiltrates the entire two storey house. It smells like dead, rotting fish (and poop).

Feel about as rough as I ever have.

Ugh.

Good luck with the next doctors visit flis, it's most likely nothing to worry about. My sister had to have a biopsy under similar circumstances but it came back fine.

It's got to be some version of gastroenteritis...

Eldest boy had a form of it when he was about 2 and a half, the smell was unbelievable, I thought his insides were actually rotting. Poor little thing lost almost half his body weight over the space of a week and could barely move, it was awful to see.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
You've got it all to come, Curio! :p

There was something about E.Coli in the Metro today, and both Helen and I have had "poorly tummy" with stomach pains for about a week now.

Something going around?

Whatever it is I've got hasn't at least got the decency to take weight off though. Cunt.

They won't him near them unless he's dying from dehydration...

Just got to ride it out. Flat diet coke frequently gets recommended, although I'm not sure why...?

Your body absorbs it more readily than water. Isotonic drinks (rehydration powders & some sports drinks) work betterer though & they replace all the salts that your body's got shot of.

Nah, just a fine.

Incidentally, it appears they have an awesome system for insurance - everyone has free third party insurance which is paid for by fines and by 'penalty premiums' which you pay when you get points.

Blood tests say elevated iron levels, so I have to have another to check if it's one-time or persistent. Also a proper fasting blood sugar test. I want this constant tiredness/fatigue/lethargy sorting.

And boy am I mental at the moment. Proper, full-on, back to square one, running-out-of-the-monthly-work-curry-club-last-night mental. Despite continuing psychotherapy and anti-depressants. Go me!

Oh, and can I have that IP ban after all, Grim...? My productivity is still in the toilet and this forum is one of my go-to distractions.

Crikey Bik, really not good. Sorry to hear that.

I have a nay: I went to a nearby pub for lunch with a mate of mine today, and not only did they take so long to serve the food I was late back to work, both myself & the friend in question now appear to have food poisoning. :(
