It's looking like the Premier Inn in central manchester is the best option. Probably the Manchester City one rather than Manchester Central.

I'm not staying in a hotel, so why would I be organising it? The original plan was to stay at the Stockport one and I've put the details of that in the first post, but it makes more sense to stay in the centre, really.

I'll be staying in whichever hotel we decide on. I need to figure out ice cream logistics, but I suspect it'll mainly be "Eat it all on the drive up, then lock myself in the room while you all bang on the door, threatening to kill me."
