A new Ben folds album today??

So 16 bottles of Rose wine for £17 cost to me delivered, just over £1 a bottle :DD

Where did you stay? We stayed at Rendezvous and the hotel on the bay by the harbour. I liked the holiday but I don't think I would go back: The pan handlers on the beach were an annoyance, the poverty was massive and I felt bad about that but the staff were friendly.

We had a bit of a decadent holiday 3 years ago to St Lucia with Virgin. Flew on their business class and amassed some of their Air Miles, they emailed me to say the account was going to be closed due to no activity and we would loose the miles So I called them and converted the miles to Virgin Wine credit, got £100 then set up an account in my wife's name as I already had one which gave me a welcome £40 credit So 16 bottles of Rose wine for £17 cost to me delivered, just over £1 a bottle

Bay Gardens Beach resort in Rodney Bay, had the same issue with pan handlers but they left us alone mostly after the 3rd day! All the beaches in St Lucia are public so you do get sellers all the time, Sandals and other resorts get around it by building hotels on coves so without a boat you can't get to the beach at the font of the hotel easily. Liked it but doubt I will go back, mostly due to the fact I don't need to put my son on a 10 hour flight for some sun and sea!

I had some odd experiences there. One morning we went jogging down the beach and up into the woods. We ran out of path and turned around, as we passed the road to a house on our left 2 huge dogs came running down barking. We ran as fast as we could onto the beach where we found several local men naked in the sea having a wash! One day whilst walking to the town, a local tat seller who had offered me his souvenirs each time suddenly added hookers and pot to the menu, on a Sunday! I also took Stirling travellers cheques and found the exchange rate to be better than Stirling itself?! All in all a good holiday last one before our son arrived so plenty of late nights and laughs.

Did you climb the Piton mountain? We did was a hard climb only 50% of our group made it up, there were several badly hung over Americans who dropped out at 50% up and another guy who's knee went at around the same place Remember the climb up killing me whilst my wife found it easier, but coming down the roles where reversed!

Everything's coming up Lewie. I have been on crutches/bedridden for a couple of months from a knee injury, but it's mostly healed now. Still taking it easy, doing a little walking, swimming and physio, but I'm past the worst of it. I also thought I was pretty skint, with SavyGamer earnings slowing down over the last 6 months, a few hundred less a month than I'd usually hope for, enough to be a worry. Then I checked one of the retailers I link to quite a lot, and it turns out there was a bug or error or something, and payments had been halted for the last ~5 months, and they have £2000 waiting to pay me once I corrected some info!

I'd probably hire a skip like that if I had a decent amount of stuff to get rid of; though that's because I'm lazy and the idea of chucking everything in a big bin that then just disappears with all the stuff in it through no effort on my part appeals to me.

After 8 years of doing predominantly early shifts (7:30-3:30, 8-4), I've decided it no longer suits my lifestyle so last week changed to 10-6. It's only early days, but last week I got four nights of 8+ hours sleep which is completely unheard of in the last 18 months or so. I feel much happier so far. I wonder if I'll feel the same in the summer...

Yes, perhaps 'shift' is not entirely accurate (although I have done my fair share of those too). I've moved to 10am-6pm and I'm getting tons more sleep. Seems to suit my lifestyle a lot better nowadays. I still do on call one week in every six, but it should be better for that too.
