Does it have a tidgy plastic aerial on the back?

If so, try a longer aerial on a wire.

http://www.thunderpole.co.uk/wi-fi-aeri ... glass.html for example

I really don't understand what is wrong with the wireless connection on my desktop computer. It can see the network, with a good signal strength, but will get as far as 'connecting to wireless network' then not be able to. If you leave it alone for a while, on your return it will be connected ( although this morning it was at 1 meg). All other devices ( iPhone, iPod Touch, laptop) can connect all through the house with no problems, leading me to believe it is the wireless card is at fault. Should I get a USB dongle to use instead of the PCI card, they are about £10?

The wibbly - wobbly data goblins being sent from your computer are on strike. They want more pay.

We had to do another pointless office move for a couple of departments on Friday and there's already moaning about the air conditioning blowing on them now. It's something that always grates with me in office environments - moves for the sake of moves.

Place your bets now as to whether the decision to carry on was as bad as the one to carry on 8 Simple Rules when John Ritter died.

I thought Ashton was pretty funny.

Also, it's on Comedy Central.

Ashton was all right - the episode was a bit meh, I thought. I liked all the women from the past turning up at Charlie's funeral, but the constant digs at his character (and, obviously, at Sheen himself) got old fast. Berta, as always, was the funniest thing about it. It'll be interesting how the work Alan into Walden's life (and house).

In short - I am undecided, and will have to wait and see if Two and a Half Men can carry on without Charlie Sheen. But I suspect not.

I only watched the one episode. How many ahve tehre been in the new series? I set it to series link on my V+ box, but had to cancel it as it decided to record every single episode of 2.5 Men they show on the channel, which is about ten a day.

I went out in Otley with on of my old University friends, yesterday. It was really good to see him again, and we had lots of beer and fun times. He took me to The Junction which he described as a 'dog pub' and it was, but they were all very well behaved and didn't bark. So that was nice.

This morning, I went to Bradford and spent £10 on a USB wireless thingy which seems to work. Which is a relief.

I remember doing the Otley run when I lived in Leeds... I think it is about 13 pubs my recollection is a little hazy..

Curio wants October to be the eighth month, November the ninth and December the tenth. "Oct, nov, dec"

I need a booze break though after my holiday and heavy weekend. Ready to get back on it for the festive season :)

I don't mind strong lager so much, I've developed a preference for the weaker bitters. Unless I know it's a stronger one that i like, as I find the stronger ones can be not as a nice as the weaker ones. Plus, I can drink more of the weaker ones.

Fucking hell. The warm weather has caused more fleas to hatch here. Landlord is on holiday, and his son hasn't returned my call about it. I've just called the council and they've to call me back. I'm going to get the council to send the bill to the landlord as this needs sorting now. Fucking northerners with their fucking manky cats.

The eggs can remain dormant for a fucking long time though, if my experiences with cat fleas in my flat have been anything to go by.

On a related note, I'm shortly going to be moving out of my flat to rent a 3-bed house nearby. So, does anyone want to rent a 1-bed flat in Shrewsbury town centre off me? :P

Long story short:

On the saturday, MrsA came up in flea bites the first day we dumped the stuff off. Turns out, A cat had been let in the house by the estate agent and had remained in the house for 24 days. Estate agent said that previous tenants did not have pets. Phoned estate agent to find out what the flying fuck they were going to do about all of this, and they said it wasn't their deal, so I called the landlord. Landlord said that he chucked the last two tenants out for having pets, we said house was full of fleas and cat hair. Land lord said it would be sorted and sent some people in to clean the place. I also went around with something called RIP Flea, as recommended by the vet. It clearly hasn't been sorted as I saw a fucking flea this morning and MrsA is covered in bites again. I'm a bit fucking pissed off now.

They are coming between 10am and 4pm tomorrow. I've asked them to send me the bill and I'll pass it on to the landlord and take it form there.

Strictly Cum Fucking:
The pitch: D-list celebs turn up get paired with a porn star, who nails / get nailed by them each week. They are then judged on their performance, probably by porn superstars like Peter North, Ron Jeremy, Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick. The public then choose one to vote off each week.

Would you watch it?
