Did anyone place a Dead Island GOTY £15 pre-order at Play/Zavvi? Now £14.86 at Shopto on 360 and PS3, plus guaranteed delivery on or before release date or receive £5 compensation. Quite a move policy.

I've got it for £14.99 at Amazon, plus Prime delivery so I should get it on day of release.

I believe it's popular Internet slang for "good" or "nice".

you know those deals where they say 'look, this expensive thing is HALF PRICE' but it's actually only worth that amount, and when you look closely it says 'sold in at least one of our stores for 7 days at the old price', well...

Dawn of War II: Gold Edition £4.99 on Steam at the moment. This includes the Chaos Rising DLC pack. It's compatible with GfWL, for the achievement hunters amongst us. :)

£7.49 for the DoW2 complete, which also has the second expansion/sequel, Retribution.

I played a bit of GoW2 (9 hours, according to Steam) before drifting away from it. I might pick up this three pack and give it another whirl.

No achievements for the second DLC, so I don't care about it. That makes me a bad man, obv.

Zombie Driver is the Steam daily offer until 6pm today. £1.39 for the game and 19p for the DLC. Had a quick go before work today and it's been enjoyable enough so far. The Metascore for it is only 60/100 but I've had my money's worth out of it already so I'm happy.

Half-price Legend of Grimrock. £4.83, according to XE.com.

I'm having a hard time resisting... surely the Steam version (with Achievements!) will also be $7.49 next week, though? Argh! This is quite literally the worst thing that has ever happened to me!

Apparently £26.86 Tales of Vesperia on 360 is both rare and profitable (according to HUKD), but it's still ~£20 on Games on Demand if you just want to actually play the game. :nerd:

Is that not also the one game you can buy on the dashboard cheaper than buying the disk ?

** edit ** for some reason the prices on xbox.com are showing as $'s for me - but its there for $29.99

I'm very sad to learn that zaphod79 has me on ignore. :(

Now he'll miss £25.95 Tales of Vesperia (on disc for the eBay profiteers), as well as £11.86 Binary Domain on 360 and on PS3 (it's better than the demo! Honestly!) and free Hacker Evolution on PC (site's getting hammered and they may still be suffering from security issues, so use a unique password and don't store any sensitive information with them). ;)
