The dvd that Mrdavpaz, sent me with dollhouse on is great. Works in my player, now up to episode 2. Looks like i will be watching a few as Kov junior won't sleep tonight unless he is on my shoulder. Going to be a long night :)

I'm also enjoying House, Fringe and Lie To Me, though I'm behind on them all since I'm abroad. God bless V+ and loads of fun viewing when I get home!

Lie To Me is very formulaic, and clearly based on the House formula, but it's still enjoyable.

ABC are currently hyping the holy hell out of the remake of 'V'. It actually looks pretty nifty from the ads.

I don't care. I like that program. It's not like *I* was giving them any money. Quite the opposite actually. Well, no, the opposite would be them giving me money, which would be awesome. But no. I meant that I stole said TV program from off of that there internet. So no advertising revenue for NBC. Ha. Take that fuckers.

Yeah, and this weeks was even more interesting. This is the best series yet, I am riveted.

I nearly gave up on the last series but I am glad I stuck with it.

They have even introduced some comedy, or maybe it's just my warped sense of humour that did it.

Beck gets a pass because he was raised in Scientology, not his fault.

V was indeed always rubbish. Amused at how alien lizards still prefer to dress like they're from Dynasty when in human form. Part of the great 'DISCO NEVER DIES!' future fashion notions they had back then, with everything being disco even as far as the 25th century. (Cut to fifty years later, when teenaged spandex wearing BEEX grandchildren are snorting over how everyone wears ridiculous looking suits and shirts in BSG....)

Also: Why did they feel the need to cover up their lizardness, they're aliens for crying out loud and couldn't they come up with a better cover story than looking for water? It's one of the most common molecules in the fucking universe, as anyone who had read a book would have told them.

Its probably just back to 'see things at the right time and at the right age' but the first run of V when it was on against the olympics .... in 1984 ?

5 episodes when you *didnt* know what was going to happen , it was a talking point at school , the fx were okay for the time , its only after that when they spun things into a series and did everything else i seem to remember it going downhill (however i've probably not watched it in the 25 years since its been on)

The birth scene terrified me even though the effects looked ropey, even to 6-or-8-or-so year old me.

V (original) was greatness! I can see why Shanon Matthews' uncle chose the name Michael Donovan.

So, Bones... I'm almost up to date. Season 4 was very very odd what with

Pretty good stuff generally though. Has a lot more story arc stuff than I expected - although plenty of 'case of the week' single episode stuff as well.

I've gone through the entirety of series 3 since yesterday. Oddly, I get so much more done if I've got a permanent distraction like this.

Im quite liking V, its like a mafiascum game made into a tv show, which ones are aliens?, which ones are traitors? is he really human?. Although it does suffer like flashforward for having no decent characters at all.

I'm really quite enjoying Stargate:Universe, despite not having watched any Stargate shows before (well, not much).

It's quite slowly paced, and the characters are starting to come into their own. It's a pretty well made show from the first 4 or 5 episodes.

It's kinda cool. Not much use of Stargates in the last episode or two that I've watched, but I'm finding it entertaining. Plus it has a good cast, complete with cameos from Lou Diamond Phillips and some SG1 luminaries.
