Malabelm wrote: Grim... wrote: Say hello when you arrive, basically. ![]() I fucking love how laid-back you are. Sleeping is going to become an issue, however. I'm more than happy to bunk as many people down as I can, but any bedding stuff you can bring with you (airbeds, pillows and a sleeping bag would be most useful) would be a good idea. I've only got enough beds and bedding for five people (one double sofa-bed (which is promised to Curio and Mrs Curio), a double air bed, and a single bed (which I just promised to romanista)), and whoever gets the double air bed will probably end up in the same room as the person with the single bed. I can chuck a load of people in the Grimlet...'s room, but, like I said, there will be nothing to sleep on. I've got a three-man tent (really a six-man, but you'd be very cosy) that I can throw up in the garden, too. I suppose someone could sleep on the sofa in the living room - we'll just sit on them to play Xbox. For people that don't like to "slum it", there's a Premier Inn-type place about a three minute walk away that does rooms for £20 a night. If you could all give me some clues about what you'd like to do regarding sleeping, that'd be good. |

Okay, I'll start putting people's sleeping arrangements in the first post. If I put anyone that doesn't mind going to the hotel down as "going to the hotel" then we can change our minds closer to the date depending on what's happening. |

The distance to the one near Gaywood is fine. It's the fact that he didn't mention that it's at the bottom of a mountain and he lives at the top that's an issue. |

Don't worry about sleeping arrangements for me — I'll just get a hotel or bring a tent if there's enough garden space. Either way, I won't be expecting any room in your house, let alone a bed and duvet. |
