Most things I say can sound really really creepy.

I literally cannot imagine anything worse. One of them does this constant sanity-shredding high-pitched miaow for the entire time she's in the backpack and the other one responds to any kind of transport by shitting and pissing everywhere. The annual ten minute walk to the nearby vets is hell on a stick; I'd rather cut my own dick off than suffer a cross-country journey with the furry twats.

On a more serious note, and journey times notwithstanding, I just don't want to make any plans to be away until I get moved back into my flat because, until that happens, I need to be able to flexibly juggle stuff with ex-Mrs B to make sure there's always someone at home with the cats. With her work (IT consultancy) there's really no guarantee where she'll need to be at any given time as they regularly change arrangements on her at the last minute. So until we're properly living separately at the end of July and I'm in full control of my shit I just want to make sure I'm around all the time to minimise any bullshit and drama.
