I have changed the thread title to reflect what I think is being discussed. It's hard to tell.

Then I withdraw the response.

As for being childish that comment was aimed specifically at Doc G not you as I don't think you are like that at all.

I hope that clarifies things.

OK. It was a response to me, hence my surprise.

Last point, because I really want to leave work.

I think that you are upset and angry about things that people have said. I understand from what you've said elsewhere in the thread that you'd have reasons for that. I think you've chosen to interpret things that people have said in a much worse way than they were intended (even though they were clearly not intended in what would be considered a 'nice' way).

As a result, I think there's been an amount of over-reaction on all sides and people might be well-off to realise that while their positions are pretty opposite on this, they aren't quite so far apart as to need open hostility.

Sorry if I was replying to you it all got a bit confusing there. That wasn't my intention.

I think my one post was way OTT. I think everything else I have said is perfectly acceptable.I wouldn't want that one post to confuse the issue or to be taken as a pointer on my feelings as a whole.

Okay, at the risk of being a big interfering twat, I'd like to suggest that everyone here (EVERYONE) stops posting for, let's say, an hour.

I agree with Craster's recent post that I think people have been misinterpreting a few things, and this has all snowballed. Nemmie's withdrawn a comment or two and Craster and a couple of others have tried to rephrase some things. That strikes me as a good time for a truce so everyone can calm down.

Myp isn't a mod, so that would be something else you've made up.
You're doing quite well now, carry on.

Kalmar not Myp

Then I apologise, I only saw the parts of the conversation involving Myp.

Actually, I just misread your post altogether. There goes my moral high-ground.

Extra edit - Oh, you were referring to that post up there. That seems to be a bit of a leap between what was said and what you think it said. Again.

Not really as he was actually referring to a post that I had already withdrawn I could only assume he was talking about something that happened elsewhere.

Although I can see why you might be confused and that's it from me until tomorrow apart from an apology to Kalmar for accusing him of doing something he wasn't.

It's like giving a bear a chainsaw, it's not the chainsaw's fault - it's the bear's lack of reasoning and the freaking moron that gave it to him. Remeber we are talking about a dealer with so few morals that he would give winehouse large quanities of E in which case the fucking stuff was probably cut with paracetamol and/or Ajax.

Hmm well it was moving very fast there for me. I was typing as you were I think but I was actually doing three replies at the same time, I need to stop using tabs as it always leaves me confuzzled in some way or the other.

Anyway glad we have sorted things out amicably and now I really am going.

Everyone's entitled to get stroppy and be mean to each other now and then. I've done it, you've done it, 99% of the active posters here have.
Just seems like everyone went insane at once in this thread.
Still, I liked the bit where we found out that not only had Craster also accidently banned Pod when he banned Cavey, he also failed to ban Cavey :)

The T&Cs are wrong anyway, I've been thinking about them for a while.

For clarification, it was a self-requested ban, that can be lifted on request.

Also, it was Pupil, not Pod.

Interesting post on Popbitch saying that if you are attending ('a well known rehab clinic' - Legal Ed), getting drugs is no problem at all. Indeed one well known Madchester star was having deliveries made there.

Makes you wonder if these places are the best place to help people. In fact one poster goes on to define it as "more of a holiday camp for the drug-addled."

That description is very accurate, having seen the insides of a private hospital owned by ("a well-known rehab clinic chain" - Legal Ed) when a relative was getting treatment there. Well, more hotel than holiday camp. A relatively mediocre hotel where the customers are threatening with a short-term sectioning if they try and check out too early.

EDIT: Vulcans are the most amazingly fantastically loud aircraft. I thoroughly approve of them and air displays involving them.

First Born and I saw the Vulcan at Fairford - best thing EVER. It was louder than the B1 Mrs K and I saw a few years ago there. Its takeoff was ribcage rattlingly loud. First Born was beyond excited - and that was after the Red Arrows, too! It was his first airshow, and heavens it was a proud moment for a dad. Also great to have someone on board with my obsession.. :)

Also, great thread, keep it up.

I wondered how a 20-odd page thread on death by pasta had built up in a single day.

I have 4 tins of Hello Kitty pasta shapes in my fridge and a friend spotted me eating the contents with a fork one afternoon, cold. I'm not dead, despite her horror.

Is there any truth in the rumour that at least one mod will be donning a red wig and beating the shit out of a soap opera hard man as well as forcing Richard Gaywood to dress as Harry Potter?

Dealers don't cut drugs with Ajax, dealers don't have a vested interest in killing their clients. There are many more benevolent powders than Ajax to use when it comes to cutting drugs.

And if someone dies of dehydration, then they've died of dehydration, not an ecstasy 'overdose', because an ecstasy overdose doesn't exist. (And besides which it isn't even dehydration that kills people in an 'ecstasy overdose', it's usually the exact opposite of that, hyponatremia. (That's what killed Leah Betts, water, and too much of it.))

No one gets fucked out of their mind enough to actually die of dehydration.

and I'm sorry you are slightly wrong, yes hyponatremia will kill ya, but so will drinking lots of alcohol while on E because of the combination of the two's magical spine and brain liquid draining properties. Clearly this was more of a problem in 89 when the shit was (ebenezer) good rather than the weak crap you get now.

I can't stand people white knighting their own drug of choice, everything comes with a risk and side effects and you accept that but if you brush it under the carpet then younger people (you may find that a lot of 18 year olds today don't know who Leah Betts is) go into it blind.

Dear teenagers.

Keep hydrated but don't drink too much water, and avoid doing slammers or E could fuck you up. Also suicide tuesday says hi.
If you have mental issues avoid booze, acid or weed - hash especially, because they will fuck you up
Never do acid with wankers or people you don't know because that's a one way ticket to some twat deliberatly freaking you out or finding yourself on a roof thinking you can fly.

Careful you don't hurt yourself climbing off the incredibly high horse you rode in on.
