:DD
Sitting down to watch the Last Night of the Proms.
Always makes me feel that the summer is over.
That acappella Moon song was lovely.
That mezzosoprano was fantastic! Excellent voice.
Just got some dust in my eye during the rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Jamie Barton is fantastic.
Absolutely excellent show. That's it for another season.
I'm exhausted, my kids are horrible, I have too much work on and I'm generally feeling sorry for myself today. Someone tell me something funny.

I have a sunburnt belly.
How? (I mean, I guess you were sunbathing topless, but it's cold right now?!)

He’s ginger
He gets sunburnt opening the fridge
He raised his arms near a CRT monitor
My old office had an array of 9 36" plasma screens stuck to the wall of the main office that they played some looping corporate bullshit on. People who sat near it could literally feel the heat radiate from it. Apparently the power to run it cost thousands a year. No one could sit on one of the desks close to it as it would give people weird headaches. Not sure if anyone got sunburned by it, but i can imagine it being a possiblity.
They probably just needed regassing.

Are you me today? Apart from the bit about too much work on... This is me.

I don't have kids but I definitely have too much work on. Various people are out of the office this week and I'm picking up all the slack. Plus dealing with a customer who is a die-hard Linux & Google fan and is completely anti-Microsoft.. so that's always a pleasure.

Also back. Turns out 'roll over' isn't really a viable avoidance strategy.

This did make me chuckle at least. :luv:

Soz about your sunburn though - slap some aloe vera lotion on it.

All shiny and slippery...
Nips out because of heat rash

Are gassed staff impervious to the heat from plasma monitors?

First phrase that sprung to mind...

Speaking of mental images of Craster did anyone see Monday or Tuesday's Pointless?

The two gentlemen who owned the gift shop in Worthing had me imaging that's what a family gathering of Crasters would look like.

(My phone autocorrected Craster to Feaster! Which I was tempted to leave!)

I can't remember the context, but I vaguely remember once saying something about covering Craster in butter.

Is that better or worse?
It would taste better if you were to lick it all off again.

I don’t own pets, and I’m not really an animal lover, so to those who love their pets like family: is this weird? I just saw it and it kind of creeped me out.

Nailed it
Yes, it’s weird.
It feels massively pointless. I wonder if they also keep the bits of claws that get shed too.

Pet owners can get damned obsessive though. Since a friend of mine got a dog, she post about the dog more than her boyfriend and the dog appears in 20 times the number of photos. He even has an instagram account. Come to think of it, that's two dogs with Instagram accounts that I'm aware of just from my circle of friends.
Shut your filthy whore mouth about posting pictures of your dog on Instagram. That’s fine. Collecting bits of them. That’s weird.

Dogs are better than boys though. This is a fact.
There's a thing where you can send hair from your horses tail to someone and they turn it into jewellery. If you're mental. Bonus (crazy) points if your horse is dead at the time.

I adore cats, through the years we had 4 different ones at home, never once did I save any bit of them
Maybe it’s like those people that keep all their kids’ baby teeth?
