Is it normal for gloss paint to give you a throbbing headache?

Cutting it 50-50 with tonic makes it go down easier.

Or are PC World rather tight when it comes to returns?

Did he buy one from PC World?

Seems to, aye. I suggested my 'plan', but he won't have that, being satisfied not to save at least £100 and get a free iPod. I think he got conned into buying some kind of warranty from them, or buying on finance, or both. He's not clever with money.

Spent couple of hours showing him how to use Mac OS X. Showing an absolute beginner made me realise how illogical and incosistant some of the OS X design and interface decisions are, to be honest.

I'm taking my old 360 down to GAME tomorrow to change for store credit (in preparation for the mega release schedule coming up), and I'm seriously thinking about taking my PS3 in as well. The plan is, I want a Slim anyway, so why not trade in my fat PS3 now and get some cash to buy the games that are coming out for 360 over the next two months, keep my PS3 games and stuff, then get a Slim when a game I actually want to play comes out next year. Right now, the PS3 isn't even plugged in, and hasn't been for a couple of months. The Slim 360 is quiet enough to play downloaded TV shows and stuff now, so I don't even use it for that. I'm also a little concerned about its reliability. Occasionally the fans would fire up and it'd sound like a jet engine, and there's the whole potential YLOD thing as well. Rather get shot now before it dies. Hmm.

Will I be able to "recover" my PSN ID and all of my purchases on a new Slim sometime next year when I get one?

I think they chose him knowing that whoever is the leader now it won't really matter, there'll be rumblings of dissent until eventually he'll be replaced. Then they'll choose one they actually could see being PM one day.

God, this, he really is so very easy to dislike. And he doesn't really seem to come across as particularly bright either. I think mark has it right, I very much doubt he will face an election campaign.

Ed was on Radio 4 this morning giving an interview. He seemed to be getting sucked into the questions and getting quite agitated very easily.

Especially questions about his brother...

And his voice is a bit annoying.

Anyway, @WogansTrouserBulge I reckon that if you do trade your PS3 in, you'll never buy another.

I don't know which one of the Milliband brothers is in charge of the labour party. Everyone keeps talking about them in the same sentence so I'm utterly confused. It's taken me two years to work out the difference between my friends step sisters (I was introduced to them both vaguely "this is Hannah and Claire *friend waves hands in their general direction*" at the same time) so what hope do I have with politicians?!

I think they chose him due to anachronistic voting mechanisms in the Labour Party and DM will soon slip away into the shadows not to be seen or heard of again, EM will stay as leader and the Tories enjoy a surge in popularity due to half the Lib Dems being really, really pissed off with their party and EM being a knob. So, looking forward to a Tory majority in 2015.

EDIT: I mean all five candidates are about as useful as a reaindeer at a cricket match. You had the Brothers Dim, two other blokes and Diane fucking Abbott.

I heard the EM interview on Today this morning as well. EM didn't doo too badly, but it's hard not to come across as slightly reasonable and intelligent when you're being interviewed by that intellectual black hole Sarah Montague.

EM did, as Mali has said, get in due to the voting system. Whilst he didn't get everyone's first preferences within the Parliamentary Labour Party or the shadow cabinet within that, he must have had most of their second preferences, so they can hardly fucking complain.

What the fuck is up with EM's voice, though? Does he just really need to blow his nose?

It'll be interesting to see what EM says when the referendum on electoral reform comes around, given he'll come across as a steaming hypocrite if he backs the first past the post system (which, if I'm correct, he wouldn't have won the leadership ballot under).

I had children in my back garden yesterday. They were climbing over the fences of the whole row of housess. Little shits.

Miss Malabar leaned out the window and said “Hello, children. What are you doing here? Oh! I know your teacher!”. They absolutely shat themselves, then drew the strings of their little hoods so tight you could only see their eyes.

I shall be collaring them if they do it again, and phoning the police. Am I allowed to punch trespassers? What about waterboarding?

If I had kids in my garden I would run out the house screaming and shouting with a big stick just to scare the shit out of them.. single one of them out... grab him and take him inside.

That should scare the others enough to run away at least.

Don't know what you should do with the one inside though.. I haven't thought that far ahead yet.
