I was selling it for £100 originally but have knocked it down to £85 to pick up.

I'd sell it you for £90 delivered. It's the console, Wiimote & Nunchuck all reboxed in original packaging. No games.

I quite like the Wii, but it's really only used for family fun on a Saturday night to play bowling with the neighbours after a few libations. I know I'm in the wrong place to say this, but I can't be arsed playing a lot of games these days. Perhaps it's because I just don't have the time, wot with family demands on me and shit.

Sadly no, they were stolen from me.

Did I ever mention this before?

I've been like that for a while. Although I did take my current game of Bejeweled 2 to the 19-hour mark and wasted spent two hours on one puzzle on the hard level of Buku Sudoku this weekend, so maybe I'm playing more games than I realise.

I've cut down my gaming, but I'll never stop. Made a decision to be more choosey with what I buy and play now.

Quick car tax question.
If a vehicle is owned by one person, but the insurance is paid by another, does that cause any issues?
Basically, if the V5 has one address on it, but the insurance documents another, will I have to take a massive bundle of documents to the post office when it comes to renewing my tax, or will I just be able to do it online, nice and easy?

I agree. AFAIK the 'puter at DVLA just needs to know that the car is insured and doesn't give a shit who taxes it, as long as someone does.

If we're wrong you'll know soon enough when you try to buy the disk on-line.

I'm not a big fan of Yanky confectionary but someone brought in a couple of bags of Hersheys Kisses from their hols.

And I'm eating them like an ex games journalist!

Hershey's Kisses taste like Cadbury's Buttons that someone has already eaten then vommed back up. At the same time though, they're incredibly morish. They're the most confusing confectionary ever created!

I ran windows update on my windows 7 box last night.
It totally fucked it and I had to go back to a system restore point from 5 days ago to get it working again.
Fucking thing.

I have just ordered a 27" iMac from the refurb store.

The two statements may be related...

I appear to have gone mental. Having only had BBC 1, 2 and 3 and nowt else via Freeview on my telly for over a year, I'd gotten to the stage where the only things I ever watched on TV were Doctor Who, Top Gear and Sherlock. I've been quite happy like that, content to do other things with my time than spend it slack-jawed in front of the idiot box.

Last night I moved in with the missus and needed to sort us out some broadband. I went to Virgin Media's website and ordered their 20Mb service... and the top, most expensive HD telly package they do. All those glorious channels! So, so many...

And so, so expensive... (though to be fair it seems cheaper than Sky).

I seem to score 0.167 every other time... with a pants reaction being the interleaved. For example, attempt 3:
.167
.215
.167
.332
.167

For an average 0.2096s, still Bobbing bobcat.

Attempt 2 was much the same, but with a 0.5 in there. The first was a write-off because I wasn't sure what I was reacting to and jumped the gun, averaging 1.88 seconds. Bah!

Edit: Improvement unlocked!

Heh -

Game 1:
0.216
0.217
0.217
0.216
0.217

Game 2:
0.216
0.217
0.217
0.216
0.216

I doubt I am that consistent down to the millisecond - I am very suspicious of how this is made.

I was going to play that but saw what you two had done and felt threatened that my results wouldn't match up and I didn't start it at the beginning of everything so I've moved on to another fad.

For some reason I was flicking through my Xbox games and decided to try Damnation - which I bought ages ago for $10 and never got round to playing. It's undoubtedly one of the worst games I've ever played, but it's crap in such a hilarious manner that I can't help but laugh and feel sorry for it.
I may have to revive Crap Games Corner and do a full review. Mind you, I have to find the strength to finish the fucker first I suppose.

I was only being a cheeky cheekster, no real offence was meant. He was being a grumpy fucker though.

Talking of grumps, it mildly amuses me that my gf can apparentely go a whole week or more without a fag whilst she's a bona fide smoker (ie, when she visits her family oop North), but by the end of Day 2 of actually quitting is ready to tear the next person who tests her patience a new arsehole.

This is why I'm only mildly amused, naturally.

You need to convince her that, given that smoking is a hand/mouth oral addiction, she'd find that she got the same relief from her cravings, and the same satisfaction, out of giving you a blozzer every time she needed a fag. Plus she's getting a seratonin hit (better than nicotine) and valuable protein.

Win win!

And it's only a few calories at most; she'd likely burn more off in the act itself. So, yeah.

I think I got beyond the tutorial on the controls, realised how bad the game itself was and quickly switched it off.
