Heh.

The one and only time I did anything like that was when staying at a chum's place at university, and I swear blind he said I should widdle in the sink in his room. I still maintain he did, but when he found out in the morning I'd got up at 3am and relieved myself in his sink, he got inexplicably cross.

Really? Even 3, what appears to have Rico in it again? His wooden acting was genius.

walked downstairs in student house in boxers. Pissed against housemate's bedroom door. He comes out of room and shouts at me, I wander off and come back with a label peeled off a lemonade bottle to 'clean up the mess'. Or so I was told

Lady Rixondale is making me watch one of those addictive Top 100 list programmes. This one is called "TV's Hardest People". Apparently, BA Baracus is not as hard as Stone Cold Steve Austin who's not quite the tough guy that He Man is. Jeremy Paxman is harder than all of these.

Watching this programme made me question why no-one in the show ever figured out that Prince Adam was He Man when they looked exactly the same. The only difference is that Adam wears some fetching pink lycra instead of He Man's bondage gear and furry pants.

From the Mail, so probably untrue, but even so...

Is she still being a prick about all this, then? Limiting your access to your son to that degree is just disgusting; she needs to stop using him as a bargaining tool and give him what's best: a prominent father figure. I never had one, and look at how much of a girl I am.

Sorry to hear it, chap. Maybe next time, in 2012.

It's true, don't let your son become a Mallowbar.

Shame you're not coming man. We'll do the next meet on a weekday.

In Shrewsbury.

In August.

When it's raining.

Heh, I hear you mate. I had to last-minute cancel going to see Massive Attack last week, having looked forward to the gig for absolutely months, because Zioette was unwell and I didn't want to be miles away and/or unphoneable from her and her mum in case she needed to see a doctor or anything. Despite this, and the fact that I see my daughter an absolute minimum of two weeknights and one whole weekend day, I got a lecture about not being a responsible father from the ex when I voiced mild dissappointment about missing the gig.

I got a little cross about that. In a dramatic, universe-shattering change from normal form, she apologised about the comment a day later. I'm still getting over the shock, quite frankly.

Anyway, very sorry to hear about your continuing troubles Kov.

It has been 3 months, and no sign of it gettign any easier...

She has contacted the CSA, which will take £60 a week of me, give it to her. Her benefits will be cut by £40 a week.
But she won't listen to reason, I want to giver her £20 a week, and give her the £40 in a different was so her benefits won't be cut, giving George more money... roll on Mediation

She sounds really rather spiteful. There's simply no reason anymore to involve the CSA, it's far, far better for everyone concerned if you can come to a mutual agreement, though of course that requires a degree of reason from both parties.

We have mediation ont the 17th March... so hopefully she will listen then.
It just seems madness, for teh CSA to take 60 but give her only 20 in reality (yes I am paying £20 each week as it is not to effect her benefits)

Therein often lies the problem.

Kovacs, mention about having to miss out on your rugby at mediation, it's something you've always done and she knows that, it's unreasonable of her to make the only time she is willing to let you see him be during that time when there is Sat morning or all day Sun.

Darryl is going for full residency of Chloe now, watch out for imminent explosion.

I get genuinely annoyed hearing about all this, you know. The idea of one parent being able to effectively completely take your kid away from you, and have you pay for the privilege is more than a little absurd. Kovacs has clearly had his heart torn out from this mess.

I completly agree, one parent does not have more control than the other, unfortunatly, until these things go to court the legality of that is rarely enforced.

One of the most depressing things for me during my ex's pregnancy was the whole idea that the father gets virtually bugger all say in anything when it comes down to it. As it's turned out, things have worked out pretty well for me, all things considered. I do wish I could give my daughter a proper family upbringing and sometimes I get on well enough with the ex to secretly even consider patching things up with her... but fortunately for all concerned she's terrifically reliable at doing or saying something to remind me why we broke up in the first place, just in the nick of time!

What really has helped though is that Zioette clearly recognises me now. Whenever I pop round and see her these days I get a massive smile from her, like she's genuinely really pleased to see me. I'm also one of maybe 3 people who she's happy to have hold her, feed her or spend a large amount of time with.

You see this isn't actually true. The law has changed LOADS since we were kinds, or even since my kids were very young, and I didn't realise this until recently when we have to seek legal advice.

Zio, even though you and the mother aren't married, you still have parental responsability, that means that you have a say in everything (from what school she goes to, to how her hair is cut) and as much rights as she does. I wouldn't rock the boat if things are going ok, but with the contact you have now in the future you could also apply for shared care where she effectively lives with both of you (and as an added bonus you won't have to pay maintainance).

The other lovely thing about Zioette is how fast she's developing these days. Everytime I see she wants to show off something new, like a new sound she's learned to make, or how she can now crawl properly on her hands and knees, or use furniture to pull herself up on to her feet. On Monday night, she wanted to show me how she's learned to blow her nose really hard so bogeys fly out. Really charming, that. No DNA test required to work out who her father is.

I took a loan out, to buy her a car... She has left with car, I have to pay the loan!! as it is in my name

Even if her name is on the V5C, if you're paying for it it's your car (the name on the V5 is only the registered keeper, not necessarily the owner).

Get that car back off her, you're paying for it, it's yours.

Yeah, the V5C even says it is not proof of legal owner. Depending on the loan, the car might actually belong to the lender. Of course, KC might have given her the car for an easy(ier) life.

I'd imagine that's absolutely the case.

Depends - if it's car finance it will be the case, if it's a normal unsecured personal loan they'd probably want cash or goods equivalent to. In such an eventually which I'm sure won't happen.

I can't imagine that automatically make the registered keeper the actual owner. Your loan, your money, your car.

And for her to turn around and limit your access in such a spiteful way? GTFF.
