I have a song stuck in my head. It's about "be"ing Barry Manilow.

First question: where the hell did it come from.
Second¤ question: who the hell is Barry Manilow, and why would I want to "be" him.
Third question: would it go away, please? The song is _terrible_.

¤ yes phone, that really is a word. Trust me on this. Also, while I'm here phone, I don't want to "be" Barry Manipulation either.

I've just been by Asda, and the vents stemming from the bakery were full of warm air that smelled unmistakably of hot cross buns.

I've not been to my local Tesco since the holidays but i expect their Xmas lane is now their Easter one despite the fact that Easter is not until the 8th of April

28th of December last year : viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6575&p=503655&hilit=easter#p503655

I reckon they do it in a bid to get on Twitter first, so everyone can tut and sigh...then in a week, succumb to the craving for hot cross buns and creme eggs.

I think most supermarkets sell hot cross buns most of the year around. Marks & Sparkles definitely do. And that's fine because om nom nom.

Yeah, Morrisons do too. It means that I can remember Jesus giving birth to an egg and rising up on a rabbit all year round.

It's not just hot cross buns, they have a display up with chocolate eggs and bunnies and shit, that says "Easter".

Maybe it is a marketing thing, kudos to them if it is.

Have you poshos never worked in a supermarket before? Every year I got double time on boxing day switching the seasonal aisle from
Christmas to Easter. Every single year. And yet, someone is surprised about it every single year too.

I'm at New Year Party Cottage. Just like last year, I'm not 100%. I've got an achey back and a stuffy head. We're 6/11ths assembled, but having the one year old upstairs in the larger place maybe isn't the best as there's 10 of us, and we might be told to keep quiet once it goes to bed.

Tell them to get to fuck.

If Ali had told anyone to be quiet in the main house at Beex Cottage, I'd have thrown her the car keys.

I've had to change email accounts as my dad wants my AOL username slot for someone else. I've set up a gmail account and swapped Amazon, ebay, paypal and nectar to the new account. What other things may I need to change my email address for?

About bloody time.

Go through the last six months of email and anyone who's sent you stuff you might want to keep, change the address they have.

Just got a Cuntbook notification...an old friend has tagged 3 photos of me, one of which is called 'Last day of year 11', which was May 1999. Jesus Christ. I can only thank god that, firstly, it's a shit picture and secondly, I'm stood behind my friends so you can't see how pregnant I am.

That sounds like something I need to turn on. I hate the Saturday/Sunday morning untag ritual after a night out. Camera wielding cunts.

I don't know if anyone remembers the performance of Chicago that I teched earlier this year, but I was reminded of the show tonight when watching John Bishop's dvd. Two of the girls from the play were dancing in the finale, one of them being the girl that gets twirled by John.

Which was nice.

Heh. No. Only myself and she ride/have ridden. Nobody else wanted to go. It was a lovely hack out, horses behaved and I didn't disgrace myself. I now smell of horse and ache.

EDIT: It was an Irish Draught, for those that are at all interested.

Just watching Viva Knievel. It's probably the most the 1970s thing I have ever seen. Also Evel Knievel is a hilariously bad actor, even though he's only playing himself.

Can't be arsed to find the footy thread... but Man United lose at home to Blackburn, and Chelsea lose at home to Villa.

What the very fuck?
