Those anticipated vote shares on the BBC seat by seats that they just ran all had UKIP bumping around at sub 10%. That doesn't correlate with polling for UKIP at 14% average.

Quite possibly UKIP voters seeing a chance of sub ten seats nationwide reswitched allegiance back to blue.

That alone would swing the poll back in favour of the Tories in many of the marginals

Of course, given the discrepancy of the exit polls to each other and to the most recent polls, it appears they're probably just bollocks. Notwithstanding Grim...'s involvement.

Which means, given the YG one, a quid on Ed might be worth a punt.

Massively unlikely, but on your recommendation...

At 5pm they expected the Cons to have the most seats, but Labour to be in power.

Because I don't think Clegg will go with the Tories again. EU referendum being one part of it, and the other being the massive hit their reputation has taken from being in government with the nasty party.

Sunderland result is interesting - Lib Dems behind the Greens.

Safe seat, but would have expected a slightly higher turnout. 56%?

Coz YouGov has Lab/SNP on 311, which is way more than Cons.

I don't believe that though. I think the massive Con win is on.

Massive compared to expected results. Obviously it's still not even a majority.

After hearing people up there when I was up north a couple of weeks ago, UKIP doing well isn't a surprise.

The media seem to have been obsessed with UKIP taking Tory votes, but ignored the working class labour voter worrying about their jobs they are "losing"

Gove hadn't opened his facehole at that point.

Also Gove doesn't believe the exit poll, or he'd have crowed over it.
