Had an email from Virgin saying they've upgraded my internet from 2mb to 10mb. Good stuff. I'll have to find something to download now.

Hate it when that happens.

Fucking Google.

"Dear Punter,

We hate you so we're giving you two weeks to change your method of payment for your adwords as we're dropping payment via Switch."

So off I go and complete a DD form. Only to find it never submitted properly because Google appear to hate Safari (so goody! - Ed).

Cunts.

Been playing with the new camera. Not really got far with it yet but it's producing some mind blowing images.

These are from 720p mode.

Two things to note. Obviously these are stills. They look far better moving. Secondly there is pixillation on the reds because the camera uses the dreaded 4:2:0 colour format where all the information for reds is derived from the greens and blues. You have to be spending serious money to escape this, but again you don't notice it as much when its moving.

Vimeo would be a better choice, I think, but it would still compress the fuck out of it.
You can attach about half a gig to a post on here, I think.

Perhaps we could club together and rent a satellite channel in the high 800s.

I'd pay to see Chinnyvision anyway.

Probably Zardoz has plenty of output he'd like to show us too. But that might be illegal.

I miss the German channels on satellite. There was one excellent one running in the early hours that was a camera mounted on the front of a train as it drove around. There was another one that was just pointed at a roaring fire. All interspersed with Linsey Dawn McKenzie shoving cake up her chuff. It was great. Chinny, do that. Not the cake bit.

Youtube and Vimeo look OK, but still compress heavily. Youtube is also somewhat buggy with audio often losing sync on playback.

I need to spend some proper time with the camera today so I'm hoping that the sun comes out and the phone/email isn't busy.

I saw the trailer before transformers 2 and was cringing and grimacing all the way through it. As it finished I turned to the missus, my brother and his missus to proclaim my disgust and they all said in unison "That looks brilliant! We should see that in 3D!"

I despaired.

That sounds good. You could just sit back and watch huge rumbling things going in and out of cavernous tunnels and when that got boring, you'd just watch the trains go by.

Ugh.

I thought I'd enjoy 3D films, but I went to see Coraline and my eyes were tired to the point of agonising head-ache shortly after it began. I spent the rest of the film without the glasses on, watching a very blurry screen as everyone around me wowed in awe at the technology. I didn't enjoy that film at all.

My Bloody Valentine was great in 3D. Especially because it had 3D fucking.

No, at least I don't think so. Although, I couldn't rule out the possibility of me leading a secret double life swindling the denizens of That London whilst thinking I'm asleep.

I was going to put that, but then realised "Who would be sorting the music?". And it's Dimmers coming in after you.

But then I thought about it some more and left it as myp. as i didn't want to spoil it.

EDIT: Names chosen due to my vague memories of what you all look like. No other reason. I don't mind that you all went to a aprty and didn't invite me, anyway. I was happy at home. With Pinot Grigio and a SATC box set. Fuckers.

Not sure if they're genuine interviews or supposed to be parodies, but here are the "Babes of the BNP" to frighten & amuse you.

Oh aye & it's probably NSFW, I'd say it's ok but you're better safe than sorry.
