i watched the Zoltan film today. It is the only film I have seen in months that didn't make me cry, and only because it was the stupidest thing I have seen in many a year. I then watched the reader to rebalance the sobbing quota.

If you don't want to cry, don't watch Lilya 4-ever. I nearly burst into tears ten minutes in, and it only got worse.

Yes! The Zohan film! You know, as I was typing that I thought 'I'm sure there was an 'h' in it, but couldn't work out where an h might it in 'Zohltan', 'Zholtan'. Anyway, yes - the foot guy. Very silly.

I have not heard of Lilya 4-ever, Throughsilver, though I am trying to cheery myself up, so won't keep an eye out to watch it quite yet :p

Have you worked out your signal/noise ratio? ;)

Had Left 4 Dead in the post today so I've been giving that a whirl tonight. Played through the first campaign and um, it's ok I suppose. I'm only playing it in single player though so that might be why it's not really grabbing me so far.

Old Michael Foot died yesterday... Met him in 2003, aged 90, and he looked impossibly frail and ancient even then, so he seemingly had the longevity gene to keep going those extra years.

I'm at work outside a client's that I rushed like fuck this morning to get to at 7:30am appointment only for them not to be here. Forgot me bastard phone as well - luckily their wireless reaches the parking bay outside so I can look at Amazon for the 'Gaywood-Pic-A-Tron magic people capturing device' and decide if I should buy that or a condenser for my daughter's bedroom.

Opportunity cost here is marriage basically.

Tough one.

Basically do I buy that rather nifty camera Gaywood has or something that will get rid of the condensation in my daughter's bedroom?

My appointment turned up 25 minutes late and it was just a simple drive mapping issue. That's not going to pay for a new camera now is it?

Buy the camera and give your daughter a picture of a condenser.

It's a fine plan - similar to one I proposed to Gaywood when asking him about the camera. If it all ends in divorce at least I can look at some really good pictures of my daughter when I am sat in bachelor squalor.

I was going to say "buy the camera and open the window" :)

By condensor you mean dehumidifier?

Also: get some wall insulation added if you don't have it, and stop drying clothes on radiators if you do that.

You knew that already though :)

Yesh. It's from Here Comes Science which is their latest (sigh) "kids" album. Worth picking up naturally.

I hated Electric Car when I first heard it, but then somehow it grows on you.

When I was back two years ago I was driving around and going back to places I hadn't been to in a decade, and yet was finding them with no problems at all. I don't know whether I should be worried by this. 1 2 3 4.

Don't forget you can now grapple any two objects together and watch the fun. The PC Gamer previewer apparently grappled himself to an exploding barrel and then shot it, and was pulled into the air as it soared off on a jet of flaming fuel. A bit like the slime tether, only you'll actually use it :p

How can you not? Some folk work their way through uni, others work then return to education & others have graduated, got a job & are now seeking a better job.

Apply anyway, just twist your life experience into something relevant on your CV.
