And means one of mine made this block - it got 3 points from me , and was one of the main reasons i bought a hard disk for my amiga

I also propose taking the data at the end and re-cutting it a different way giving each thing that someone voted for a point and see what ended up on most peoples lists (and a question for when its all been published "are they many titles on the less than 10 points which had more than 2 people voting for them?" - i.e. if 9 people voted for a game and it was bottom of their list should that not be higher than 1 person who put their game top)

This has already been factored in where games are tied on points. Due to the way the list has been compiled it would have to be recounted from scratch if you wanted it to go further.

It always amuses me that even the simplest of thing, like making a light hearted "Top 50 games ever!" list can still cause furious debate about the best methodology to ensure that their favorite game is high up the list than another persons.

See, when I said "I remembered", I was going from personal experience. I never put as much time or effort into Tekken 3 as I did with 2, therefore I remember having more fun with 2, so I voted for that.

I know we are to discuss merging of game series post-list, but this is actually the same game. The name strangely warped over time (my PSone version was titled differently to my Steam version, but it is the exact same game)

wooo - 3 of mine in there

Elite - i gave 7 to , such an immersive game , i played it most on the 64 and never actually got to elite , but made 'deadly'

Fallout 3 - came in at the bottom of my list (so a single point) , but having not played any of the previous fallout games (apart from the influence of it on the C64 "Wasteland") i really enjoyed it and i'm waiting for the DLC disks to come out to re-enter the wasteland

Bubble Bobble - 4 for me , an absolutly great 2 player arcade game and a game i think i've played on more formats than anything else (arcade/c64/speccy/amstrad/amiga/st/nes/sms/pc/gba/ds/wii and probably others that i cant even remember)

I recently downloaded Bubble Bobble for my Wii... it's not as good as I remember, but still good.

Whether it's better than Perfect Dark though... well, that's another story!

I still enjoy it mightily (was one of the games in the current MAME challenge too), hence it being high up on my list.

I felt that the Civ games can be largely treated as a whole. I think I voted for the first one for its groundbreaking nature. Plus I've only played that, 3 and Revolutions on the DS. Actually I used to play Civ 2 a bit on PSP.

I voted for Civ 4, though I didn't sink nearly as much time into it as the others.

Probably should have voted for Civ 2, though there's an argument (for later) to bundle all 4 together.
