I'd say longer for me. I got a DVD drive for my PC in 2000 and haven't looked back since. I don't think I've recorded anything using a VCR since 2001/2.

A beautiful if flawed film. I own the special edition on DVD. A pity that James Woods' character had such a ludicrous scowl.

Yeah, I've got my old black TV (with multisystem VCR) and also my parents' old standalone multisystem VCR which still gets fairly regular use as we both have a large number of movies and such on VHS. Not to mention irreplaceable stuff that I taped off TV decades ago.
