This month's theme, chosen by Random Member, is:'REFLECTIONS'.

THE THEME wrote:
'Reflections, in all forms, whether the reflection of a sight, or the reflection of time/memories past, or any other way you can think to approach the theme.

Here's how to take part:

1]Take a picture, based on the theme (think direct, think laterally - it doesn't matter - it's your idea and creativity that people are looking forward to seeing)

2]Upload it anonymously to the Eggwan account (obviously, don't call it 'Mimi's picture of reflections' or anything that makes it too obviously yours)

3]Try not to make it too obvious that a picture is yours in particular by announcing your upload, etc.

Upload your 'REFLECTIONS' photos to the same-titled folder in the Eggwan Gallery. (If you would like to take part in this contest and do not have the username and password to sign in to the Eggwan gallery for anonymous uploading, please PM me for details*).

This contest ends at MIDDAYpm on MONDAY 18th August. Good luck and happy snapping!

(*PM-ing me, rather than asking in-thread just means that I am much less likely to miss your request, but it also means that it is far less likely that people will know which picture is yours by the fact that it was uploaded a short time after you asked :) )

Can't seem to find a gallery/folder for this one?

Eggwans server is mangling the link, even if you copy/paste for me.

Looks like Gaywood has been fiddling with his Apache config.

Hmm. I have been working on the eggwan site and the gallery, but I hadn't realised I'd broken the links like that. Apologies. I will codehammer.

(It's lighttpd, incidentally, Grim...).

Fixed the URL forwarding and changed the theme. There is some CSS wierdness going on -- icons seem to be horizontally repeated into a never ending chain. It doesn't effect any bit of the site we use though.

Also, don't worry about the data, that's all safe.

OK you skanky lazy mofos, you've had plenty of time to reflect on this challenge's topic, so get bloody snapping and submit your images. Less than a week to go...

Surely there's just over an hour to go?

I didn't read the first post just went on what Richard Wrongwood said!
I thought it might be sooner, though.

3?

How feeble are you lot. OK, instead of winning picture we'll vote on most creative excuse for "not being bothered".

Being addicted to anything is not acceptable, especially MMOs, natch.

I stopped bothering, because it's not a photography challenge.

My dramaradar is telling me I should just admit to being a grumpy old mare and leave the topic alone. :attitude: I also don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

I see what you're getting at, because it's voted things that look pretty will beat technically better pics.

There's quite a debate on whether if they don't look prettier are they even better? And then we're down a road that can only end with someone cutting a goat in half and leaving it in the Tate.
