Yup, I've been.

I went to TEDx Cardiff last year (poss. the year before?). Gaywood went too.

It was good. Full of nerds and hipsters though. We attended a lecture given by a tech start up that had designed and manufactured an augmented reality, guitar t shirt. They were young, talented and sitting on a load of venture capital. Bastards.

Was it good?

well the format was kinda predictable, but quite good fot this, in a sense that 18 mins is a good length, if you have 16 tale/a day.. not that interactivre, but lots of breaks to discuss stuff, and a good public.. mixed bag of speakers, from an belgian death image philosopher to an american hsppiness professor...
