(I know Gaywood will win this but lets see how close the rest of us can get)

I just set up the boy's school laptop downstairs for youngest to play on the Cbeebies web site while the wife and I do some work. It then occured to me that we had three laptops all using the internet as well as our phones and then I thought how much stuff have I got that's connected to the 'net.

Here's mine - what's yours?

3 x laptop
2 x iPhone
2 x iPod Touch
1 x PS3
1 x Wii
2 x Xbox 360
1 x FreesatHD box

Grand total of 12 connected devices.

And couple this with some geotagged data grabbed from a photo website, then the burglars know who to hit! :)

Hrm. 2 laptops. An iPad. 2 phones. A BlackBerry. A 360. A server.

Yep, that's it I think.

Is this always, often, or potentially connected?

If it's often, I've got a linux server, a Windows media server, two PCs, two laptops (one Windows, one Ubuntu), an iPad, Zune, iPhone, HTC Desire, Kindle (if that counts), a NAS, two 360s, PS3, Wii, and the Sky Box.

If it's potentially, there's a MacBook and a few more PCs on the list, as well as my G1 and N95. Oh, and my DS and PSP. The Wii should perhaps be on this list.

[edit]Er, I really should cancel my Sky account, considering I'm leaving the house in four days. Maybe.

The company I work for provide tills and stock management systems to petrol stations (and lots of other retail and service firms, but not the part I work for) so I have 1 or 2 for support purposes (I work from home often) and the rest of them were being dumped by work, so I got them for free, although they are low specced win2k machines mostly.

Nah, I'm already behind some other people's numbers. If I list just, say, stuff that would have been active on my network (defined as "asked my router for an IP address") in the last week:

1x Macbook
1x PC
1x Mediaserver
2x consoles (PS3, Xbox 360)
1x iPad
1x iPhone
1x printer
1x TV
2x Airport Expresses (they get an IP over DHCP but are arguably cheating!)

=11, including the AEs.

If we then list stuff I have that is disconnected or rarely turned on:
2x consoles (PSP, Wii)
2x other computers (that would only need to be plugged in and switched on to work)

I have another half a dozen, at least, computers in the attic in various states of disrepair but they don't count. Danielle will only add two to this list (her Macbook and her iPhone).

I forgot my printer, but I don't really connect to the 'net with it, although it does connect to the switch, and in theory I could connect to it from the internet.

On a regular basis I would say only my computer, iPhone and Xbox.

Other stuff would include DS, Wii (neither of which get turned on very often at all) and the work laptop.

I guess I'm not that technologically advanced after all.

I like games like this...

I have...

1x HTC Desire
1x Desktop
1x Wifey's phone
1x Xbox 360
1x Wii
1x PS3
1x Another desktop
1x Old modded Xbox

And sometimes an old Nokia 5800 and a PDA that is lost somewhere in the bedroom.

If I could get the Dreamcast online still, I would in a heartbeat!

This is cheating a bit.

4 x 360
1 x Wii
3 x Desktop pcs
2 x laptops
1 x netbook
1 x bluray player
1 x V+ box
1 x tv
1 x Galaxy S

I've also got a G1 that's soon to be sold, and a pda, psp and ds that don't get used much. I do have another laptop, but the wireless card is a bit knackered so even if I do use it, it probably doesn't go online.
I could also add another pc, a ps2 and an xbox into the mix, but sadly I don't have a broadband adaptor for my dreamcast.

I don't have anything that's connected to the internet, including this PC. I post here magically, with my powers.

Other than that, nothing in the house. There's a bunch of stuff that could connect to the internet, if (a) I could be arsed and/or (b ) I wanted it to.

My list...

3 desktop PCs
1 laptop
1 netbook
3 phones
1 Wii

Potentially there's the 2 dreamcasts (the broadband adapter is far too costly but I did buy a 56k modem to replace the 33k one it comes with... woo!) too, but I'd have to find them first. I did have a Saturn modem too but I think that it only worked on US hardware so I got rid of it

Well I have a lodger so some of this is his on top of my own and Mrs The Egg's stuff;

PS3 x 2
360 x 2
Sky HD
Sky +
Home Laptops x3
Work Laptops x2
iPhone x 3
Blackberry x 2
BD Player

I also have a Wii but that hasn't been switched on for a year plus a box of other miscellany such as old laptops and other dusty cack.

Given that I live in the lawless wastelands of Cardiff (Sorry DB Snappa, but I live in a rough bit of Splott) I really should get some better locks and a Doberman.

Okay then. Until the end of this week, possibly slightly longer, I'm living with me ol' folks and my youngest brother, so between us, we regularly have:

- My PC
- My iPad
- My iPhone
- My Xbox 360
- My PS3
- My gf's netbook
- My gf's iPhone
- Dad's PC
- Brother's PC
- Brother's Xbox 360
- Brother's HTC Desire

hooked up, but occasionally I also have:

- Powerbook G4
- Alienware laptop (which I really, really need to get on eBay!!!)
- PSP
- DS

also jostling for space on our wifi router.

I actually rooted around for my Game.com last night to see if that could get onto the net, but it turns out that it needs the add-on modem cart. I wasn't too gutted.

You should get a computer.

We have:

1 laptop

1 360
2 iPhones

If I ever plugged the Wii in then that'd count too.

I still have unactivated Wii Points as well. Not even the lure of free games to download can persuade me to turn it on.

Last time I turned it on was to check the wii shop to see if it had become less shit.

In the 2 years gap, It really, really hadn't.
